Television Gotham - TV series

Just rewatching season 3. Kinda wondering what people think is going to happen with Barbra. Will they tone her back down with Jim and her eventuallyngetting back together or will she stay a villain. She's an awesome character as she is so it would be a shame to lose that.

Honestly, cant even remember, but I thought she died. Or are you saing shes coming back or was it implied she would be? Its been that long

I thought she annoying in s1 but her turn to the darkside was fantastic esp with Tabitha. Shes better as a sexy mad villain compared to anything else.

It's just in the comics Barbara Kean becomes Barbara Gordon, they get married and have kids which leads to Batgirl who then becomes oracle.
So either some massive shift happens where they just write a new version or at some point they get back together.
Also, Batgirls name is also Barbara Gordon or Babs for short. I'm sure in the comics tho kean leaves Gordon to raise Babs himself.
I wonder if maybe they plan to make her Harley Quinn and just rewrite the history of that character.

Pretty sure she is alive as I follow her on instagram and she has put up lots of shots of her on set with the cast and so on. Also Butch is getting jacked to play the part of Solomon Grundy

You might want to spoiler all of that just in case mate.

I think...

She possibly becomes Harley Quinn after getting electrocuted last season. They've hinted at it in the show already, just a matter of whether they're teasing us or not.

Barbara is too old to be Harley Quinn. In the Gotham timeline she wouldn't even be born yet.

I get the impression Harley in the comics is probably around the same age as Bruce, Catwoman and so on. Has her age ever really been mentioned? I don't actually know.
TV series tho and they've already changed quite a lot from the history of Batman as we know it like naming the Joker. Making Barbera insane. I don't think that was part of the comics, I could be wrong as I'm really only a moderate fan.

Finished season 3 & thought it was the best season so far. Really enjoyable & the characters were a lot better than previous years.

Jerome is fantastic. Can't wait to see Bruce's development to becoming Batman.

I'm so damn annoyed with myself. That stupid mid-season break completely ruined the show for me and I haven't been bothered to watch it since. I really need to get back into it, such a good show.

The dude playing Jerome aka the joker might actually be my favourite joker. Think he is fantastic. Guess he has taken his que from the Mark Hamill animation joker.

Yeah I think I recall an interview with the actor where he said Hamill's Joker was the one he took most inspiration from.

EDIT: Found the relevant quote:

http://screenrant.com/gotham-joker-actor-mark-hamill/

"“If anyone was to inspire my performance, it would be Mark Hamill’s animated Joker, which I think I might have mentioned to you before but his portrayal was the only one that I felt comfortable at all taking anything from, and that’s because there was going to be such a difference in translating from animated to live action. The majority of my inspiration, when possible, came from the comic books themselves.”"

They had more focus and more arcs to the show. It became much more fun and it embraced the wackiness of it rather than the seriousness of Jim Gordon stories it initially went with.
Focusing on the villains was the best thing as Batman stories probably has the best comic book villains overall.

What channel has it on in the UK? it used to be Channel 5 but I streamed all of season 3 as it didn't show it

Not on a TV channel as far as I'm aware. Netflix only made available the season 3 episodes at the start of this month.

This, like Agents of Shield, has gone from strength to strength after an iffy start.

Watching season 3 on Netflix. The show is dripping in cheese and the acting ain't great but I love it all the same.

Barnes becoming Judge Dredd is awesome and hilarious. "I AM THE LAW!"

A really fun episode to bring it back. I actually thought it was returning next week so a nice bonus to see this episode available to watch.
The licensed crime element is a good way to have GCPD hands tied but allowing Bruce to batman his way around the city.

Agreed.

Just me or did Angel faced Bruce Wayne all of a sudden look taller and like he has filled out a bit?

Was a pretty great episode in my opinion. We are starting to see the characters on their paths to what we know they will become. It's shaping up nicely.

Good start to the season.

Scarecrow should be an excellent villain.

Big fan of the DC shows that are currently airing but for me none have been as impressive as Gotham, it gets better with every season and the first episode of this season was a brilliant starter I thought, long may it continue.

Gotham is gonna do Ra's al Ghul better than Arrow did imo.
Enjoying this season so far. Even Bruce having to deal with consequences of his actions. Probably first time im interesting to see what happens with Bruce (and not just because of Alfred)

Miles better, casting is spot on.

Ending of latest ep had me proper stunned. So used to everything being tied up nicely in these shows.

Latest episode was written by Ben Mckenzie. Dude writes himself kissing and fondling another hot chick. Kudos.

Another solid episode.

Fairly certain Ra's al Ghul isn't actually dead & it's connected to whatever he did to Barbara. Penguin & Riddler are fantastic. Personally, I was hoping we wouldn't see Lee again.

Solomon Grundy made me laugh, such a cliche .Hope Barbara does not become Ra's Ghul .She should have stayed dead last season.

They are great at creating the villains here, Prof. Pyg was very well done imo. A very good episode even without Bruce and his crusade shit.

I got an episode to catch up on, but loving this. Like the Nygma/Grundy stuff from the previous episode.
And the Bruce/Ghul stuff was well done imo.

I can’t get over how Lil Bruce all of a sudden is starting to look and act more like how you’d expect a Bruce Wayne to act. Looks bigger, meaner and Just darker.
Last nights episode as well was great. The Harvey, Jim stuff is starting to boil. Something surely going to happen there soon.

In all fairness he did kill a guy, it changes someone no matter the reason.

Aye but I mean the kid in general, the actual actor. That angel faced little kid over the last few seasons all of a sudden looks believable as The Dark Knight. I feel like he needs a when puberty hits meme.
