Deleted. It was meant to highlight the absurdity of the framing of the situation by the Israeli Government, but you are right. Apologies.
Were American or UK soldiers ever accused of sniping children?Imagine how sick you would have.to be to do shit like that? Also, I remember when American and UK soldiers have faced punishment for things not too dissimilar. These monsters do this with impunity.

A number of children were shot dead by British soldiers in Northern Ireland. Just to speak of the UK.Were American or UK soldiers ever accused of sniping children?

My point was that whatever US or UK soldiers did it absolutely pales in comparison to the IDF.Not quite sure where you were going with the dead children reply and making a leap and comparison that wasn't there or implied

Yep, the mind absolutely boggles how anyone can try and justify or defend this. Absolutely it does.Yeah, I accept that, but I wasn't making that comparison or suggesting that. Just replying to the sick and twisted pictures and videos that the IDF continuously post day after day without any consequences whatsoever and pointing out UK and US soldiers have been heavily punished for doing the same in the past. Actually, I think when they did it they were punished for sharing the pictures between themselves and not posting them on social media like the IDF are.
Anyway, it's fecking sick and it's yet another crime to add to the long list of disgusting and depraved actions carried out without consequence while the world looks on.

Yeah, no.My point was that whatever US or UK soldiers did it absolutely pales in comparison to the IDF.
You don't think that the IDF is the most unhinged professional fighting force of the modern era?Yeah, no.
Whatever UK or US soldiers did, and boy they did some, their standards are still miles higher than the IDF's.Yeah, I accept that, but I wasn't making that comparison or suggesting that. Sorry mate, I totally misread your post. You don't think that the IDF is the most unhinged professional fighting force of the modern era?
Yep. It's unreal. And yet it's happening. Even on here no less.
Whatever UK or US soldiers did, and boy they did some, their standards are still miles higher than the IDF's.
It's an easy feat since the latter has none when it comes to Palestinians. They snipe children, women, elderly and unarmed people. They bomb out a whole neighborhood (or a refugee camp) to try to get one guy. They deliberately target ambulances and journalists. They help settlers stealing and burning Palestinian homes. There's not a single shred of morality to be found in the IDF, bar a few exceptions. It's a racist, colonial army that acts like one. What we see now is absolutely nothing new, it's just never been as well documented. I guess we can thank Twitter for that. Small mercies...
The only difference is that it never makes the front pages in the mainstream media and even if it does, just like right now, the West just doesn't give a shit. You know, Palestinians.
Choir boys who flattened Grozny during the Chechen wars, after which the UN designated it the most destroyed city on Earth in 2002.Sorry mate, I totally misread your post.
I fully agree with you. The IDF makes the Russians look like choir boys.

Western leaders embarrassing themselves, episode 80735950:
In English:
Scholz is a clown... At least Merz (the leader of the other big party in Germany) is half honest. He is unapologetically supporting the Israeli regime while it commits a massacre. And he is not pretending to be giving Israel any advices.
You can add the war in Afghanistan in the eighties, the mass rapes in Germany in 1945... the list is long and the Russians are known to have a very loose interpretation of the laws of war.Choir boys who flattened Grozny during the Chechen wars, after which the UN designated it the most destroyed city on Earth in 2003.
Colonialism dehumanizes both sides. If you look at what the British military did in response to anticolonial struggles, then things are more similar. And this is an anticolonial struggle.
The British pretty much put the entire Kikuyu population in concentration camps in Kenya in the 1950s, and operated death squads in Malaya.
Colonialism dehumanises the colonised, and it makes the coloniser do inhuman deeds in the name of civilisation.
Colonialism dehumanizes both sides.
Wars of independence can't be won by the coloniser. It's a lost cause, no matter how much violence is used.
Ah, I see the great man being quoted for the second time in this thread. For someone born 99 years ago, Fanon's analysis is still bang on.
1. I was tear-gassed at school when I was 6 years old(the whole school).
2. My first classmate was killed when I was 8.
3. My neighbor was assassinated when I was 9. (I cried that day.)
4. Around 20 soldiers stormed our neighborhood and wanted to arrest me and my little brother for interrogation (I was 7 and my brother was 4).
5. They stormed our home more than 8 times (I can recount them to you as if they happened this morning).
6. They arrested my father and made me put my hands on a wall when I was 7. (It was at the Shejaia entrance, and I still remember my white sneakers.)
7. They shot at us while we were playing on December 22, 1992 (I was turning 8. I remember because it was my birthday).
8. They arrested my oldest brother when I was 5 years old.
9. I was forced to shower in cold water or very hot water because Israelis used a mechanical stone-thrower that broke all windows and solar panels (which we used to warm water) - that's why I hated showering for some time.
10. They woke us up in the middle of the night a few times. Once, I opened my eyes at the age of 6 to feel a soldier's boots near my head and his gun in my face (I was sleeping on the floor).
Nothing like some calming and educational books for you to read to the kids before bed. Obviously filled with metaphors and examples to help teach empathy, compassion, understanding, acceptance and inclusion of difference over hate and fear to your precious little ones.
Oh...........................
Absolutely fecking sickening. I'm ashamed to be human at times, and shit like this just reinforces that feeling.
not the first dumb shit that Ive seen her tweet in another unrelated topics in the past. But goes straight to the top
Sorry but this is bullshit. While I agree, the current Israeli government have no interest in a 2 state solution, let's not paint Hamas as moderate. Their manifesto is for the destruction of Israel. They do not try to hide from this.
Gunning young people down at a music festival and burning families alive is not resistance. It's terrorism.
The Hamas chiefs live it up in Qatar and are worth 100s of millions of dollars. They've received enough international aid to turn Gaza into Dubai. Any money they received was used to acquire rockets and build tunnels. Nothing for the Palestinians. Not even bomb shelters.
There can be no meaningful change in Israel unless Hamas are dismantled and Netanyahu is toppled for a moderate government.
