Apparently Mata has won more games at Old Trafford in a Chelsea shirt than he has in a United one. We're a laughing stock.

Oh my god..is this true?
I was right. Again. So far, a nothing player for us.
It is a mountainous plight to be right sometimes. I wish I would make mistakes.

He was a bit cack last night, wasn't he? Still, as I've said before; if one or two players play poorly occasionally then blame the players. If most look rubbish fairly consistently - blame the manager.
Mata was definitely a game changer for Chelsea.Players like Mata and Kagawa play well when the others around them are doing well. They're not game changers, they're team players. We lack movement, ideas, shape and sharpness.
Looking through the comments, there's a lot of justifications for Mata's poor performance yesterday. Yet when say, Cleverley or Fellaini have poor games, it's because they're poor players. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to compare the two, Mata is technically superior to the aforementioned players, however, what I'm trying to say is, when a player has a bad game just admit he had a bad game.
We can admit that, but when it's been happening for the best part of 2 seasons now with those types of players, it's obviously not the player just not being good enough, which is the case with some others. Kagawa and Mata were very good/world class in matas case for their prior clubs. Yet at united they seem ineffective, slow on the ball, and basically opposite of what they were usually like. It is everything to do with the style if play clearly, and our style just not encouraging that type of player.Looking through the comments, there's a lot of justifications for Mata's poor performance yesterday. That could be the case for Cleverley and Fellaini too. We all saw how good Cleverely was a couple seasons ago, partnered with Ando when we played quick, one touch football.
As for Fellaini, because there was speculation of him coming to United, I watched a couple games where Martinez played him as the deepest midfielder, mainly next to Osman. From what I saw, he was good. On the ball, he got the ball and moved it quickly. Off the ball, he got stuck in, averaging 4.3 tackles in only 3 appearances.
Cleverley has only showed brief moments of excellence. He's never been consistently good over the course of a whole season.
Fellaini had one good season for a decent team. He's nothing like Mata and Kagawa.
Kagawa was one of the best players in the Bundesliga for 2 years straight, and brilliant for his national team as well. Mata has been one of the best players in the PL for 2 years(+), and he was good in Spain as well.
My point was that, if some feel tactics are hindering their plying style, surely this would be the case for Fellaini and Cleverley, and the rest of the players
You sure? Didnt we only win the one with him? 0-1 last season.
Make more sense than playing them all playing every single match in a season. Also means we would have a weaker subs bench. Not much point turning to a weak bench when we're losing is it.That will never happen. How many other teams deliberately drop one of their three best players in every game they play?
So long as the three of them are all on our books the onus is on Moyes to find a way to play them all in the same XI.
he was a big culprit vs city, gave ball away in easy situations, stopped our rhythm a lot. most of the time he's been great for me though. I don't really care if he plays off the right I don't think it makes a difference, but it's nice to have either him or kagawa in the middle rather than rooneyI don't get this "he's been underwhelming" shit coming from people like Owen. Some of those flicks and passes were gorgeous. He never loses the ball.
