Liverpool v Manchester United

I'm thinking Young behind Welbeck. It certainly could work, lets see what happens before going nuts

Bench: Lindegaard, Rooney, Nani, Anderson, Hernandez, Carrick, Valencia.

---------------De Gea---------------

Smalling------Rio-----Evans------Evra

----------------Jones----------------

Park------ Fletcher---Giggs-----Young

---------------Welbeck---------------

:eek::nervous:

I wanted Jones in midfield for this one, think he's perfect for the role.

Why is Rooney on the bench? Must have a slight injury?

Thinking about it, this is a complete reverse of previous games against the dippers.

We've packed central midfield with grafters, they've sacrificed a CM in order to play two strikers. If nothing else, this should mean a change in the pattern set over our last few trips to Anfield.

Also... people complaining.... Fergie always throws a curveball in the big game lineups and it's gone right more often than just playing our best team.

Think Arsenal with 7 defenders (forced hand but genius move all the same)....
Chelsea 3-0 with Giggs and Berbatov up top......

I get the feeling Welbeck will be up for this. Such faith in him from Sir Alex, also in Jones and Smalling. C'mon United.

Contain and mop up their narrow midfield and widen the play later on?

What a show of confidence by Fergie towards Welbeck.

What a lack of confidence throughout the rest of the team. More negative than I ever imagined.

Why is he on the bench?

Rarely performs against the Dippers, add to that the shit storm of the week he's had with the sending off. Rooney isn't above being protected by Ferguson. He did it when the affair stuff happened to. Great man management. He'll be itching to get on and prove a point though.

We've been here before. It's shocking, but I'm excited to see how it works.
