Liverpool vs. Man United

I would have loved to headbutt Gerrard and take the red card. Fair play to RvP thinking about the team, but wouldn't we all have loved to headbutt Stevie?

That feeling when you ruin your season by getting RVP banned for a lengthy period for a knob head like Gerrard.

Not even remotely worth it for these game raising cnuts.

Every attack ends with Giggs and the very rare chance is wasted by Welbeck. Young has also been poor, getting caught in possession and looking down when in possession.

If we loose this, there is going to be very little rest bite for Moyes from the press.

How about we attack? That would be a nice change of pace.

The supply in to RVP and Welbeck has been shocking. We have created absolutely nothing at all.

Not surprising looking at the midfield we field. Clev is having one of his shockers again and Young and Giggs give the ball away endlessly. Although Young is at least able to put dangerous balls into the box.

Forget tactics, team selection or whatever, when fecking professionals cannot control a ball, or complete a <10 yard pass, then that's a joke. Hope Moyes knows where Fergie left the hairdryer.

Why do we always (apart from 2012) get decisions against us at anfield from the ref?

Giggs has been awful and we all saw it coming too.

Hope to see Nani quite soon and although I'd like to see Chicharito come on as well, I'm not sure where we could fit him in just now.

Needs to be much, much better after the break.
Put Hernandez up top, Rvp in the hole, welbeck on the left and nani on the right. Giggs and young have to go really. I don't think they've done anything right so far.

Not a bad performance in the first half but the yellow cards are stupid and could potentially kill any chance of a comeback, rvp is needs to calm down because they're clearly targeting him now.

A comeback is in order if no one gets sent off.

Looks like there is a gulf between our flat 4 in midfield and the strikers. Very tough half...

Slightly better with Tony V on the right when we go forward, able to pin them in more, which realisitcally, is the only way we'll score with this lineup. I'd love to see a 3 man midfield someone dropped in behind the strikers.

I think Giggs and Young need to come off.

Maybe bring Anderson on for Giggs and try and firm up that midfield. Move Welbeck out to the left and being Nani on for young and place on the right.

We aren't doing bad.

But we have no clue how to create anything. And the goal was needlessly conceded by Young's shitness.

Yep. They didn't play anything apart from scoring after defensive error. We've been slightly better side, shame Van Persie didn't put at least one of the chances he had. Could end draw, but I fear we'll get red card and that means match over.

I expect this kind of crappy performance with Giggs on the pitch. What does he do? His passes are grade A awful, he cannot tackle, he doesn't even stay in position to help his full-back. About 3 promising attacking situations broke down with his lethargic passes in the final third. It's rank awful - it's like SAF selected this team.

Getting bullied here we need a few more that can handle themselves........Fellaini anybody?

We need people who can pass the ball under pressure and who can move around the pitch and make themselves available. Fellaini wont change any of that.

He would just miss 3 games, two of them against Palace and carling cup (but also citeh)

Utterly, utterly, utterly pathetic stuff from us. Poor team selection and the performance is as you would expect. Young is pointless, but worse than that gave away the corner for the goal by being a general Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime in defense. And Giggs... the less said the better. He just doesn't look like a footballer right now. Abysmal passing. Our discipline in this game is woeful as well. If Moyes can't fire up his team better for games like this then it's no wonder he's got such an appalling record here. That said, under Fergie we were sometimes equally bad here. We just turn into a bunch of retards at Anfield.

Shocking team selection, too many people in our attack without any creativity. RVP being this isolated will only get him more frustrated in the second half.

Don't talk shite I'm not his biggest fan but come on

I have always defended him but I don't have any doubts. At fault for the goal, hid for 45 minutes, ALWAYS passes back. He's been a disaster signing for me thus far, there is no shame to admit it. Enough is enough.

1- Take Giggs out and put Nani on.
2- Get Clev to be a bit more attacking in his approach, playing far too deep atm.

If Liverpool win here, they'll be 5 points ahead of us already...

Just like the Chelsea game, this game is screaming for someone who can keep their cool and control the game in the attacking third.

Apart from the goal we conceded, we played really well in the first 10-15 minutes. We completely ran over them. But as expected, Carrick and Cleverley can't keep that tempo up without having a proper AM in front of them to control the game and produce chances. The only reward they get for their efforts, is a relatively good defensive game. But that is not enough!

Kagawa you bastard, get match fit!

RVP needs to chill the feck down, his first yellow was already an unnecessary stupid one, if he gets a second one, we'r fecked !

Giggs is dire, his passing is way below standard, bring in Nani for him.

I would also bring Anderson in for Cleverly.

Poor first half from us. The midfield problem has reared it's head once again. It's not that our players have been awful; they're just not offering enough going forward. Carrick has been rather anonymous and while Cleverley is okay in possession, he just doesn't do enough with it to cause a threat. In the end, Van Persie is left isolated and frustrated up front because he hasn't been getting enough service to make an impact. It's a bit like on Monday, only this Liverpool side are actually willing to try and score unlike Chelsea who were more than happy to let us have a lot of the ball and take the point. Coutinho has been very good for them and looks as if he'll be a key player this season.

We've been poor out on the wing's too. I think Valencia should have probably started ahead of either Young or Giggs. Young has been very poor, while Giggs has shown that while he's still good on the ball and is more than capable of putting in some crosses on the wing, he's not got the pace or stamina to be playing out there in a high intensity away game such as this. Valencia, despite being a sub at right back, has probably offered more than the two of them going forward.

Anyway, it's only one half and the game isn't finished yet. We'll just have to hope we can pick it up in the second half since this game is far from finished. A bit worried we'll be down to 10-men by the end of it since a few of our players seem very frustrated.

What the feck is this analyst talking about Sturridge's offside? He doesn't understand the rule.

One talking with Andy Gray, is this NBC?

EDIT: Nah, it's Al Jazeera.

Cleverley is frustrating the feck out of me

Yeah same, doesn't make himself available at all when the centreback a have the ball and seems so slow whoever he does get it, either has to pass it straight back or sideways.

Honestly. What will it take for Giggs not to get selected for games? How on earth can someone be so consistently poor and not named Valencia and still get games for a club like United?
