Besides the point, there is a huge influx of Liverpool fans registering and a good few have been promoted, and while some oppo fans are good for the site, too many is counterproductive.
As a newbie Liverpool fan who's been recently promoted, from your perspective as a united fan I would also find it overbearing if it seems there's too many in one discussion. I can fully understand that and respect where your coming from.
As of late I have found it reluctant to post as frequently as I did in the newbs, which has been disappointing because I thoroughly had some great discussions with some united supporters there, some of whom have also been recently promoted themselves.
I can understand many regular posters here are annoyed by my introduction and have a right to complain and bring it up with the mods. At the moment it is difficult to post in the main threads, as I know my newly found presence would come to the attention of many regulars here and I would have to find myself time & time again repeating what I'm saying now.
I've never signed up to this site with the intention of purposely getting myself promoted to rile up united fans. No way. I've been reading these boards since early 2011, and signed up as a member last summer before I even knew we would have this dream of a season. So I can understand now why the timing of my promotion has infuriated many.
Im not always going to be in agreement or come to the defence of the fellow Liverpool posters here, there's been times where I've read the mains in the past that I totally disagree with and wish I could have my say. If there are discussions particularly on Liverpool and many of them share the same opinions as I do, then I will refrain myself from constantly sharing the same input, as that can look dominating.I want to involve myself in many football discussions besides talking about my team all the time.
I follow united very closely, not because they're a rival, my father is Manchester born and a lifelong united fan, I've been more times to OT than Anfield, and I lived in the city for 3 years during my uni days and loved it. I'm not a scouser or didn't know what the hell RAWK was until I saw the RAWK goes into 2010/2011 meltdown thread which made for difficult reading but I respect many regulars on here and share their views on their club and it's direction.
I respect what your saying though Moses. I just hope others see my promotion as just deserving as the fellow new ones and not the fact that my name has Liverpool fan written underneath somehow has begun to raise question marks.
