Man United vs Portsmouth, 26.02.05

Atkinson in canal + studio now:

Fat dude: "Ron? Whos the best player you have ever worked with?"
Ron. "Without a shadow of a doubt. Robson. He is Roy Keane with more goals"

SAf thought that this may be an easy game so he wants O'Shea and Phill to get some playing time.

We all know what happens when he does this. I am afraid of a long nail biting 90 minutes.

Hopefully Smith will get a chance to play.

Carroll looked pretty dissaponting sitting in the crowd with a "I wish a had signed a new deal weeks ago" face

the bartender in the pub where i usually watch the game is such an asshole (he's a scouser)! he said that rugby has to finish first before he switches to the manutd game! so can anyone post a radio link for me? i have to wait 20 mins before i can go and watch the game!

the build up was form a throw in near the flag, the ball came back to gazz who crossed the ball which was over the head for ruud and his defender, but fell righ on rooney's leg 5 yards in front of the goal who then set it on he left side of the goalkeeper's net.

ruud seems bit slow.

you want him to be lightning fast after being out three months with a achillies injury?

holy shit, seven shots on goal or so, all of them blocked. Pinball machine as the comentator said it. Ruud bit unlucky not to catch the ball in the penalty box froma cheeky flick from scholes.

We're playing quite well.

Just hope we finish them off, sooner rather than later.

outstanding pass from silvestre to find ronaldo along the touchline who makes a nice cross but the gree gk gets the ball in his box in front of everybody else.

don't we look just awesome with Ruud (and Howard) on the pitch? :)

28' rooney takes a shot from about 23 yards which is low and weak and drifts about 4 yards of to the right side of the goal.

30' Good combination on the right side between gazz and ronaldo which results in a cross that finds ruud in the box who has to turn ackwardly to receive the ball and in the process touches it with his hand.
