Manchester City v Manchester United

Aye. And it's not as if we don't have enough older players in there already. Gibson has always been far too static for me, and he can disappear unless we have the ball in and around the opposition box. We're lacking legs and energy in that team, Fletchers performance today could be critical. He is certainly going to have his work cut out for him today in that midfield

Agreed. One of Gibson's main weaknesses is not picking up runners from midfield as they go past him, but I don't see De Jong and Barry doing that too often. His main defensive responsibilities may involve helping out Neville if he's on that side, and Valencia pushes up.

We need Fletch ar his best today, but I've been a bit concerned by how jaded he's looked the last few weeks. Hopefully his little rest will have done the trick.

neville against bellamy scares me.

Giggs against Onouha is just as scary.

Giggs has had some joy against Richards, but Onouha is actually a very good defender, combined with all his power.

The way Nani has been muscling his way past defenders, really annoys me why he isn't starting.

I think Nani should be ahead of Giggs, he's put in some big performances this season and Giggs didn't seem fully match fit against Blackburn.

Would have liked to see Rafael and Nani in there, but I had a feeling he'd go for experience. Hopefully it turns out better than it did a couple weeks ago.

That's far from the team I hoped for. This could be a tough afternoon.

Neville over Rafael also surprises me, was rubbish against Blackburn and tore a new one by a slow Malouda when we played Chelsea. I think that Johnson and Bellamy will run him ragged today.

Reckon it'll be Bellamy up against him today, and if he has a good game, he'll definitely hurt Neville. Think I would rather have had O'Shea in at right back. Hopefully Neville can get back to his performance level from a couple of weeks ago.

Overall it's a decent team. If Fletcher and Scholes can control things in the middle then we've got enough going forward to win this, especially with Nani available on the bench if we need to switch things about.

Nani not starting is a surprise but lets see how it goes, he's always a great option from the bench.

Sky are pissing me off recently.

Against Chelsea and now City, you wouldn't think we were even playing.

giggs wont let us down. not in this game. 11 men in red shirts out there today with our pride and season on the line. COME ON UNITED

Sheasy's jaded though through lack of matchfitness, Rafael's still being disciplined for Bayern ... Naville was always a good shot at starting however as 90 mins suits him better than the other two.

Should have started Nani over Giggs and possibly Rafael over Neville, when will he learn ?

I doubt he's got much left to learn, to be fair.

Not playing Rafael is fair enough. Bellamy raped the hell out of him last time and what are the odds of him not getting sent off in a game like this?

Giggs over Nani is odd but he's obviously going with experience and none of know how well they've been training all week.

I'm nervous.

Hoped to see Nani in, and even Carrick.

But well see. Often the most unlikely team can surprise us.
