Manchester City vs. Manchester United

..............De Gea
Rafael Smalling Rio Evra
..............Carrick
........Jones..Anderson
Nani..................Welbeck
.............Rooney

The club stressed that the release of tickets on general sale for the game will not lead the home allocations being infiltrated by United supporters. City are confident that their membership scheme, and that prospective fans need to prove a history of having recently bought tickets, will prevent home tickets falling into United hands.

Just seen this & I find it frankly incredible. Does it mean they can't sell out for this huge match and yet didn't they reduce our allocation or something?

Perhaps I've got this wrong, they can't be this small time can they?

Mancini press conf: Balotelli injured for #MUFC cup tie, Yaya & Kolo Toure may miss out due to ANC (decision later).

I have a feeling we'll win.

Hopefully we'll see:

De Gea
Rafael Ferdinand Smalling Evra
Carrick Jones
Valencia Giggs Nani
Rooney
Yes please.

Subs: Lindegaard; Fryers/Evans; Anderson, Park; Welbeck, Hernández, Berbatov

Hopefully the two losses hurt us enough to bounce back. Got a feeling it'll be a draw after the 90.

Yaya Toure has been told he must report for the African nations on time.

He'll miss the game.

I think we'll get found out again. I hope that our players will show more passion than yesterday though.

Hart
Richards Kompany Lescott Clichy
De Jong Milner
Johnson Aguero Silva
Dzeko

Lindegaard
Rafael Smalling Ferdinand Evra
Carrick Jones
Valencia Rooney Nani
Welbeck

Definitely would give us a chance.

Will they play De Jong? feck sake, our injury-crisis is bad enough as it is :(

Good news about Yaya being out though, he seems to love playing against us.

I'm just curious as to how we're going to cope with the pace and agility of Aguero. Our defence seem rigid and slow as feck these days.

I even play Fletcher and Evra as CBs on FIFA to get much needed pace in central defence, just saying.

Return tickets are available to anyone who was unsuccessful in the original ballot for this game.

Ring the TO if interested

I think it gives us more than a chance, considering who they've got out we should be favourites. Well at least we will be if Rooney doesn't play shit and sulk all game but that goes without saying :)

Having a quick look the bookies heavily favour City, think I'll have a cheeky punt on us.

There is no way on this earth that we will go in to this game as anywhere near favourites. Not a cat in hells chance.

I think we've got a decent chance but I just cannot see any bookies making us favourites for this

What will Citys front 3 be? Surely have to leave someone on the bench?

4-4-2 away from home against Manchester City would be a terrible idea!!!!

Hopefully at least one of Smalling or Evans are back for Sunday.

My team: De Gea - Rafael, Ferdinand, Smalling/Evans, Evra - Valencia, Jones, Carrick, Anderson, Nani - Rooney

Can't see Rooney and Berba starting together again here.

Rooney's our top scorer and Berba's our in-form striker right now, he's scored some goals the past few weeks.

He deserves to start. Stick Welbeck and Chicharito on the bench. Plus them two are more likely to make an impact from the bench than Berbatov.

But when was the last time they played well together, particularly away from home?

I'd be stunned if they started together.

very good line up. hope for it

You say that but he's scored 6 goals in 5 games against us for Wolfsburg and Man City

Which is a travesty.

His only decent goal was that header he scored for Wolfsburg.

SUBS: Lindegaard, Fabio, Park, Giggs, Berbatov, Welbeck, Hernandez.

I honestly believe that might work. Of course, it depends on Anderson being ready to play the majority of a game, but Giggs can have half an hour if necessary in this one as we've got a week before Bolton. I also heard a wild rumour Cleverley might be back for this one but I'd be very surprised indeed if he was to go straight back in to the team.
