Manchester United v Aston Villa

Can't understand why that defender stepped over the ball.

Thought it was a useless cross from Evra, but somehow made it all the way through

Welbeck deserves that, he's been banging on the door for a good two or three games now and has been unlucky.

A couple more in the next half would be nice, perhaps resting Scholes.

Maybe even bring on the Berb.

Scholes scuffed it and it was still a good pass to start off that move :D
Good goal.

Awful keeping.

But yessssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Finally for Andy Cole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phew. Feel a lot happier.

Get into the dressing room now 2-0, regroup and then come out STORMING and get a 3rd immediately after half time to finish off the game.

How can this be the side that played 5 days ago and was so comprehensively beaten?!

I love the goal, but every time Welbeck stretches on the ground like that, something always happens to his hammy. I pray not.

The buildup to that 2nd goal with Scholes, Rooney, carrick and evra was brilliant.

If we rest Scholes I hope it's for Cleverley. We don't need Giggs' impact and we need possession and movement rather than speculation.

We need to destroy them in the second half and not just sit back.

Much better performance today, we should be further ahead but some good last-ditch defending by Villa has kept the score down. Paul Scholes is just incredible. Hopefully we get a few more goals.

HT

We have been way better than Villa and could have scored a lot more.

Now lets get the 3rd quickly in the next half and relax a bit.
