Neville calling De Gea best GK in the league now. Interesting.
Giggs wasn't MOTM in either Madrid game. Welbeck was in the first by a distance. Giggs started having a really good run when we decided to have him drifting out onto the left, where he's much more effective. Putting Giggs alongside Carrick means that not only does Rooney have to drop even deeper more often, but it also gives Carrick a bigger work load.
People like you come into this thread and act like anybody going against the decision to play Giggs are immature and morons or people who are hating on Giggs. I'm not hating on Giggs what so ever. If he lines up out on the left, great. If he comes out and has a stormer, fantastic. But more often than not, we've employed him in the center and it's hindered our gameplay much more than what it would with a natural central midfielder in there.
History has feck all to do with tonight's game. Why are you and others mentioning how many medals he has and any history the guy has? So that means he should be an automatic starter because he's got a sensational history for us? Pretty shit logic really.
You and others storm in and are just as bad as the people who come in here and overreact with shit like "OMGZ GIGGS STARTING feck SAKE END OF THE WORLD SACK FERGIE!". You come in and shit all over anybody who dares to disagree with a decision that's been made. I give a shit personally about the center and Cleverley in particular. He's not started a great deal there recently and is fully fit, that's why I'm mentioning the recent usage of him, because IMO he should be in there instead. That's not an overreaction, that's an opinion. But hey, you continue to shit on anybody who dares question the constant inclusion of Giggs in the center of the midfield.
Correct me.
Giggs has actually looked decent out on the left this season, but I can't think of 1 match when he was great in the centre. He certainly wasn't against Madrid when we unable to keep any possession or control the tempo whatsoever.

Giggs was MOTM in the second leg. By general consensus. As for the rest of your post, I'm not going to further the 'debate' with you. I really think you need to calm down to be honest. No one came "storming" into the thread. How do you even storm into an internet thread? I just laughed at the hysterical reaction from your first post, and to be honest your reply has only deepened my hilarity.
I'll try to stop shitting on people. I promise.![]()

got a great sky stream if anyone needs
Giggs/Val is ok for me. Wouldnt be my favourite pick but ok. Our CD worries me though. Jones and Evans? Hope they will cope

Ray Wilkins just said that DDG has had a bad season and Valencia is in a different class. How the feck was this guy assistant manager to one of the top teams??
I think he's fantastic. My favourite on Sky.Can Ed Chamberlain from Sky Sports be any more boring? I hate that guy.
We were great against Madrid. Bar that spell after the red card. Giggs was excellent, individually, too.
What a strange way to remember those games. Bizarre.

That's football.
Anything's possible in a world where Avram Grant can reach the top of his profession and Carlos Tevez can get laid.
Giggs was great in that game but he most certainly was not playing in a midfield two with Carrick, and he was constantly drifting on to the left wing.
I think it's pretty fair to say that Giggs hasn't had a good performance in a midfield two in quite some time.
We very rarely play a midfield two though tbh. Even when we have two strikers up front, Rooney spends 80% of his time as part of a midfield 3. Fergie himself has said this many times. United don't play 4-4-2.
C'mon United.
Gary Neville's comparison's are a bit off-kilter sometimes. "Like nans in this country having a brew". Belting.
