Manchester United vs Burnley

SSN saying that Berbatov is available. VDS and Vidic could feature.

thats good news. Well having Vida and VDS back is any way.

I have nothing against Berba he started of the season well as he played with a bit of pace, allowing us to strech defences a bit. However, we haven't seen this recently. I don't know if this is down to his injury or what but I would like to see him give it all or bust, if the injury is holding him back then go in for the op.

I think that is a reason why some people are calling for Diouf, ok alot of it is joking, but he is a player pace and it is something that we are missing in our game.

So I hope we play with a bit of pace and movement today, if we do we will win easily

Official Team to play Burnley:

Van der Sar
Neville Brown Evans Evra

On Vidic and VDS - longer term, it's important that they're back. It's an irrelevance in terms of today's match.

Berbatov and Rooney have done pretty well together in the last couple of league games. We clearly look a more creative outfit with Berbatov on the field.

Diouf, contrary to opinion on here, is not the fecking messiah. He shouldn't be going into the side ahead of Berbatov, or Owen for that matter.

neville and scholes in the starting XI

shitfeck ?

fergie knows best

Fate has been tempted.

Don't be silly mate.

There's no such thing as fate and all that nonsense. You prepare well in the week, pick a side which is superior to the opposition and apply yourselves in the game. We do that and we win.

If we lost against Burnley at Old Trafford, it wouldn't be fate's fault. It would be down to a lack of effort.

What are you on about? Have a bit of respect.

Yay Nanis on the team!

So much excitment pre-match i'll give him 15 min before we are calling for him to be off!

He's far from shite but I don't see him as a long term united player.

Based on? Other than 10 mins against Birmingham we know nothing. Personally when I see Diouf I think of Manucho but in truth we know so little about what he is capable of, so it is harsh to judge him . He could turn out to be another Ole and I hope so

Feel a bit sorry for Kusczack, but at the same time glad to have Edwin back.

I agree Berbatov is creative but his last couple of games he has reverted back to walking everywhere with the ball. I think we are at our best when playing with pace and movement. When you have a player walking everywhere whether he be creative or not it doesnt matter because the pace is gone from the attacking momentum.

And hence why tards are seeing Diouf as the messiah, he could just offer something different. But I agree he shouldn't be starting ahead of Owen or Berba just yet, even Ole started of on the reserves

As I said earlier. He's had 15 starts for United and scored 5 goals. Pretty respectable fare. Apparently though, based on this tiny snippet, people just get a gut feeling that he's not good enough. Brilliant.

Would have preferred to see Rafael in there, but glad to see Nani back, here's hoping he won't be giving the vultures too much to criticise after the game.

No Giggs! :(

I have Giggs and Fletcher in my fantasy football team (because I can't do anything else), only the fact that United have two games this week makes me happy.

Nani please please please please don't let us down and perform...

regarding the team. Hope Nani can proove his doubters (including myself) wrong and perform.

And I would like to see Carrick sit back and Scholes play a bit further up the pitch linking Rooney and Berba.

Great to see VDS back

Fergie has seen the light...come on Nani...hattrick
