That's currently the worst midfield in the premiership.
Love a bit of rubbish talking you do.

Can't see it being a big issue in this match. It's being played at a laboured pace and we have had the majority of possession. Scholes will sit the deepest of the three.
Clev did not look to bad when he walked off but has gone down the dressing room straightaway. Hopefully a precaution. He was able to hit a 30 yard ball without any reaction afterwards and did not look to be hobbling or anything. We will find out at 90 minutes but nothing overtly obvious.
What are the permutations and combinations for Celtic to go through? Or are they already through?
Do you even understand the concept of football ? There was no way Cleverley was gonna start the Man City match. If there was a perfect fixture for him and keep his fitness levels, it was tonight.
SAF cannot predict who will get injured and who won't![]()
Was expecting the same thing but they all played in a U21 on Monday evening so I am assuming they're tired.
Anderson and Cleverley injured again, while the 38 and 39 year olds are as fit as a butcher's dog. So fecking annoying

It doesn't matter for this game really, but for (probably) the next month or so now, we have Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs and Powell to choose from for center midfield. Couldn't have come at a worse time as well as late december/early january is probaby the busiest time of the season.
Clearly you don't. If we even attempt a midfield of Scholes, Fletcher and Carrick against City it wil be a disaster. Now that looks like what we are left with, oh and Giggs!!

Kagawa is possibility for the City game according to my old man.
We also have no idea if Cleverley is even injured. Like I said, we have no idea why he was subbed. Looked a precaution to me.
so why the feck he is so reluctnat to buy a cm?
Love a bit of rubbish talking you do.
No chance was Cleverley playing regardless. There was a reason Fletcher, Carrick and Scholes weren't starting this one, and that is because it is painfully obvious that those 3 will start. Only way that would change would be for Cleverley to have scored a hat trick or something, which won't happen now.
Even with our fantastic forwards, we have struggled against bottom of the league clubs/dross when one or more of that 3 have started. Yep compete rubbish! Wake the feck up.

Fletcher, Carrick and Scholes starting against City. I just cannot believe SAF has regressed so much if that's his idea on how to beat City. It's seriously unthinkable.
Fletcher returning was like a new signing.

We've said it numerous and pointed that the midfield selection that SAF chooses doesn't reflect what we want as fans.Just because we want Cleverley to start vs City, doesn't mean it would have happened.
Let's just say he was gonna that match, do you think he didn't need some match fitness before that massive game knowing he didn't play last weekend ?
If anything tonight was gonna be a good preparation for the derby for him.
SAF should have forseen the injury though![]()
Yeah, he can, anyone can predict that Anderson and Cleverley are going to get injured a lot.
When Anderson got injured at the weekend and given our other mobile midfield options it made Cleverley one of the most crucial players in the squad. That's my point, it wasn't worth the risk to loose all this 'rustiness' after not playing for 2 weeks!
How well did you think clev was playing? Or has been playing recently? Hardly like he can claim to be clearly in better form than them. I think he had 70% passing accuracy when he went off.

So you'd want him thrown in against City lacking match fitness and be torn to shreds and make all his mobility useless?
How fecking boring is this game when there can be a full-blown discussion about SAF's midfield options for the City game during the fecker?
You're giving Cleverley more importance to the team than SAF has ever had.Cleverley is no way on the most crucial player in the team (even if Anderson is injured).Otherwise he'd have come on against Reading.
You're overrating him
