4-0.

Spot on team and bench for me. Hope your scoreline prediction is too.

Me too, only change I can potentially see is Pogba or Park over Cleverley if he doesn't make it. I never heard the reason why he was left out of the last game.

I'm not sure why, but for a long time now (okay about a moth or so) I've just had a feeling that out of our remaining games this is the one where we'll rack up the most goals. I would argue that the entire first team bar perhaps Welbeck are in as good a form as they have been all season. If we can control the game as much as we did for the most-part against Fulham and Blackburn, but add a little more penetration, we'll get more goals for sure. If we show up and don't score at least three this time I'll be surprised. We should have really tonked them at their ground, too.

They will be fighting for their lives. It wont be easy by any means. I hope we can keep possession well throughout and make no silly defensive mistakes esp from set-pieces.

I have a funny feeling that we are going to draw this game, but City to lose at Arsenal.

I can see a few changes, such as Cleverley, Giggsy, Park and Welbeck to start. Back four wont change.

Valencia...Giggs..Cleverley..Park
.............Rooney..Welbeck.......

Can't see that mate. I'll go ballistic if that's the team mind.

Hoping for a more settled team during the run in. As we've no games in the cups this should make it easier.

I can't really remember, but did Fergie use the team that started the European cup final quite a bit in the last month or two?

But that one didn't go too well for us though...

Team picks itself IMO, the only position that is up for grabs is who to partner Rooney up top. I would go with Hernandez again, that Welbeck flick pissed me off as much as Fergie.

I'm in Gallway this weekend, any Irish 'tards with any suggestions on a pub showing the match?

Anyone know why QPR have been so crap? They looked pretty good to start, have Barton gone off the boil again? They seemed to have made some good purchases to me, I'm a bit surprised they're not further up the table, they certainly spent a fair bit.

Those two bananas Welbeck and Hernandez have got to start weighing in with a couple, if they both hit a bit of form this should be a cricket score. But United like doing things the hard way.

4-4-2 please, Valencia and Young on the wings.

QPR will be in a good mood following their win vs Arsenal so lets stifle them early and put the pressure on City.

We never play 4-4-2 anyway. Rooney is a a number 10.

Not in the squad: Giggs, Park, Jones, Pogba
Out: Vidic, Fletcher, Anderson, Lindegaard, Owen, Fryers, W.Keane

Some words to the team-selection
We'll see changes in every of the next three games no doubt but i would'nt make too many changes for the game against QPR, i'm sure QPR will be our hardest games in these next 3 games.
I would make only one big change with Young for Jones (The 4-3-3 formation against Blackburn was a disaster) and maybe Welbeck for Chicharito too, Welbeck has pissed me off with his tricks in the Blackburn game but Welbeck is better for our game than Chicharito atm.

QPR's recent road form:

L Arsenal 0-1
L Newcastle 0-1
D Villa 2-2
L Blackburn 2-3
L Bolton 1-2
L Sunderland 1-3

They started their travels with a win at Everton, a loss at Wigan and a win at Wolves. Their only other road win in a 1-2-9 run since came three aways later at Stoke.

Overall away record: 3-2-10, 11 points or .73 points per game, no one has less away points.

Though they have beaten Arsenal and Liverpool in the last 3, both at home.

Last 10 overall: WDLLL DLWLW

 WTF terminology is that? Anyhow get your point about hitting form as if Rooney hits a dry patch we'd really need someone to step up and with Berba ousted it might have to be Owen as Danny and Chico have looked a little bit short lately, hopefully we buy a top drawer replacement for Berba in the summer and to relieve the burden on Rooney and if/when Danny and Chico progress it's a bonus.

I don't think it is a good idea to purchase a top drawer striker. It would be hard to keep the Welbeck and Hernandez happy, I rather not lose any of them.

Early kickoff, isn't it ? We usually start out a little goofy with our passing in those :nervous:

It means they have to cram in pasta early hours

I don't think we're playing especially good, but we are at home, their away form is awful and we have Valencia

I'll be seriously disappointed if the gap doesn't increase tomorrow to be honest, hopefully Arsenal can get a result.

not from gallway but i visited it when i traveled abroad, the Kings Head was a great bar to watch us beat Inter Milan at a few years ago (before beating chelsea in the CL )

Was just about to submit the exact post...

Anyway, we should roll these. 8 points clear and pressure on City. Early goal to ease any nerves.

De Gea
Rafael Evans Ferdinand Evra
Valencia Carrick Scholes Young
Rooney Welbeck

Subs: Amos, Smalling, Fabio, Pogba, Giggs, Berbatov, Hernandez.

Hopefully the team dont go out with the same attitude as this today, we need to be clinical and get the job done, this may not be as easy as some would like to think. Anyway I would like to see..

Considering how bad QPR are on the road, this is a better opportunity to rest players, as opposed to Wigan away, from a points perspective.

QPR away: .688 points per game
Wigan home: .813 ppg
