Manchester United vs. Southampton

Kagawa aside, we were absolutely woeful that half. Probably the worst we've played all season, at least at home anyways. Anderson may as well have been playing for them. I fancy Southampton to nick another as our defence looks ropey as feck.

And that first goal was an absolute balls up from both Carrick and De Gea. God knows what either was thinking.

First half vs Wigan, Spurs and QPR (home games) were equally if not worse than this. But I certainly agree on Anderson, his passing is well off.

Hopefully we can come out and get at them in the second half and pad the GD. Wouldn't count on it though, we love doing it the hard way.

So what was De Gea supposed to do there? Barrel into the forward and he sent off? The lengths to which some people find fault with De Gea is astonishing.

It was a crap back pass that put de Gea into extreme peril. Unless you like the idea of having your keeper get sent off you can't ask the keeper to do any more than he did.

Carrick should have just coughed up the corner kick rather than expect his keeper the play the ball off a lob back pass with a rushing forward all over him.

I have nothing but love for DDG, but fecking hell he should have just booted that ball into the stands rather than the jump.

Steve MacManananananananananaman is a prick

I agree but we know Fergie and his favourite sub time of 65-75 minutes. He likes to give players a bit of time to react to his team talk and at 2-1 getting as many minutes under Anderson's belt as possible is important.

Oh yeah, I agree there's zero chance of him actually doing it. His preferred substitution time seems to get later every season. I remember when it was on the hour mark like clockwork. Maybe it moves with his age.

Rafael on please. And Clev

passing have been awful. main culprit would be smalling and anderson. welbeck gave away the ball on the edge of the area as well.

playing welbeck and kagawa on the wing means little width offered, van persie drop to the wing most of the time to help things.

improve the passing please lads.

Arsenal 0-1 Liverpool

Do you remember how hard Lukas Podolski hit the ball last week when he scored against West Ham? he has just middled another one right into the stomach of Jamie Carragher. Man down. We have a man down...

aawwww I hope it isn't too painful :(

I don't know. They've been advertising the Mexico v Denmark game on ESPN which is on later with Chicharito being the focus, so I assumed he was with the Mexico squad.

There was a bloody great United badge behind him so I assume the interview was in Manchester.

Just seen jordan henderson celebrate that boy looks inbred.

Henderson just bumbled the ball in the net against Le Arse and is celebrating like he has won the World Cup.

Get Nani on please on the right...he needs as many minutes as possible there before the Madrid game

So what was De Gea supposed to do there? Barrel into the forward and he sent off? .

I dunno, kick the ball when he got to it, rather then jump over it? I'm sorry, I've defended De Gea as much as the next guy on here, but it was pretty pathetic keeping.

The back pass was awful, mind. What was Carrick thinking?

I think De Gea's inexperience really showed for the goal but seriously Carrick what the hell were you doing!

Rafael is an obvious absence here too. Jones is looking as average at RB today as he's looked excellent at CB in recent matches.
