--------------Foster--------------
O'shea--Rio-----Vidic------Evra
--------Fletcher--Anderson-----
Valencia-------------------Nani
---------Berbatov--Rooney-----

Hopefully we'll be a bit more effective this year compared to the same fixture last season.

Fletcher and Scholes as CM's, Nani with Valencia on the wings.

The rest is known.

Team should be...

GK: Foster

RB: O'Shea
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Fletcher
CM: Scholes
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Berbatov

Subs: PIG, Neville, Evans, Giggs, Anderson, Park, Welbeck

1-0 to us, Berbatov with the goal

My team:

GK: Foster

RB: O'Shea
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Valencia
CM: Carrick
CM: Fletcher
LM: Nani

CF: Rooney
CF: Berbatov

Sunderland are very average at the back, we should be able to break them down even though Bruce's teams are usually hard to beat.

I'm hoping Giggs will play as I'll be there!

Valencia--Fletch--Scholes--Nani
--------Rooney---Berbatov----

subs: PIG, Brown, Evans, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Macheda.

I doubt Sunderland will come to Old Trafford and play the same pathetic game they attempted last season against us.

Bruce will have a go, and just like his wigan side every time they came to Old Trafford, will concede a fair few.

they might go 4-5-1

cana - cattermole and rico in the middle
fat andy and someone on the right wing (malbranque?)

decent team they are .. hope the players arent complacent

Foster

Brown - just think this may be the game for him and Sheasy's done well recently so he may get a rest.
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Carrick
Fletcher
Park (if fit)

Rooney
Berbatov

SUBS: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Evans, Anderson, Scholes, Valencia, Giggs.

I would like Nani to play, but I fancy Giggs vs. Bardsley.
I think we may see Nani - Fletcher - Scholes - Giggs midfield.

Nani was rested yesterday, Fletcher played only eight minutes and Scholes with Giggs are going to have some days for relax after Sunderland game, because of international break.

I wonder was Fergie watching the reserves last night? Id love to see Eikrem make the bench. His goals last night were unreal

His second was sensational. We're spoilt for choice in midfield at the moment, though.

I'd like to see young Josh King get a place on the bench meself. He looks like a real handful and we could do with some more options up front.

He's smart enough to have noticed that the 11 men behind the ball stuff that some lesser teams try to play virtually never works at Old Trafford. This is one game he's 95% likely to lose whatever the tactics, so why got give the fans some entertainment?

My thoughts exactly.

I'm going the match tomorrow. Should be a good spectacle from our POV. I'm gutted that Giggs will most likely not play though.

Sunderland were really poor defensively against Wolves - the 5-2 scoreline really flattered them.

No Carrick even on the bench!!

Foster
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Valencia Fletcher Scholes Nani
Berbatov Rooney

3-1 or something. Should win, need to win, and hope Chelsea vs Liverpool is a draw.

Foster

Brown
Ferdinand
Evans
Fabio

Nani
Fletcher
Carrick
Anderson

Rooney
Berbatov

Subs: Kuszy, O'Shea, Evra, Scholes, Giggs, Valencia, Welbeck.

Nothing wrong with a bit of squad rotation. Hopefully we can pull away from Chelsea a bit after this game.

2-0 Rooney x2

This is what I'd like to see. I'm hoping in particular that Carrick will get a bit of a run in the side so he can carry on his mid-week form.

But I reckon Park, Scholes and Neville will play at the expense of Valencia, Carrick and O'Shea.

2-0 Rooney x2

It always make me a bit nervous when we line up without
at least one of Giggs/ Scholes.

Hope Nani, Ando, Berba and Fletch all start
