But i still think Arsenal are needing another striker.....Giroud can score 20 goals in all competitions....but Sanogo is still without a goal in 15 games
In some games like against Hull or Aston Villa you need a striker from the bench like Chicharito for us or Dzeko for Citeh

They should be in for Bony. hes the sort of striker that could really be the last piece of the puzzle.

Bony's got a good shot and he's a threat in the air. Ideally he's a plan B for a top team, but he would score goals.
because we've seen him play? by watching him its easy to see that he has another level in his locker. he took time to get settled last time around and for a ball dominant team like arsenal he'd be formidable.
Arsenal currently have depth in every position except in CB and DM. It's been established that Wenger has faith in his current strikers. I expect Joel Campbell to be a good bench player. With their crop of creative and goalscoring wingers, they seem quite fine upfront.
Arsenal have a very good midfield. Perhaps a CB...and they are set.
I don't see how Bony is an upgrade on Giroud. I don't think Giroud is great and I think Bony is mocked a bit too easily, but I just don't see what the point of buying Bony would be when they already have Giroud.
I don't rate Lewandowski or Mandzukic, neither are an upgrade on Olivier.
At this point it doesn't matter anymore that Giroud is CF. Arsenal have now such width and depth in attacking threat that some of their forwards is bound to put goals in during a game anyway.

You must be blinkered to think Giroud is on the same level. Lewandoski is definitely an upgrade.

Mandzukic, maybe, but there's no debate possible with Lewandowski. One of the best #9 out there at the moment, top notch player (which Giroud isn't). He'd definitely be an upgrade.

We've got a problem with defensive backup, quite obviously, but by and large I think we're in much better shape than in previous seasons. A couple of more signings still to go though, I feel.
Wenger took his time but it looks like he's nearly there with this rather enviable and exciting squad. Give him three years with it and I think he'll finally win the Champions League.
I think you might win the league this season. If Chelsea didn't appear this strong, I'd have you down as favourites. Wenger has done some good work, your midfield options are mouth watering for a Utd fan

Really, really don't agree with that.
Their team is certainly looking good on both a collective and individual level. They have a good mixture of power and pace. A lot of the players have been playing together for a long time too. While he does not have the financial advantages that other teams have, Wenger has an advantage over most managers in the sense that he is under less pressure and has had plenty of time to build this team and did not have to rush it or put a team together fast as he would not get sacked if he did not win. I think they will give a stronger challenge for the league this year than they did last year and will have a better record in the big games (united, Chelsea and now city) which has been very bad for a long time.
Been saying this since the start Pete. I think he would fit like a glove at Arsenal and under Wenger guidance. I just want one more year of William for our Champions League campaign and then you can have him
He's stronger and a better finisher (has a bloody powerful strike) but he does not have better hold up play, is not "double" the player in the air, is nowhere near as good at passing or creating chances for others and is ridiculously lazy.

He's double the player in the air, I don't even think that's close to being debatable. Giroud in the air is everything but dominant which is exactly what Bony is. if the ball is cross anywhere near him he'll get to it and put it in the back of the net. Yeah Girouds team play is better but he's hardly Lewandowski. Strikers can be lazy as long as they provide the goods. You wont see many PSG fans getting on Ibra's case.
A lot of it will clearer after this coming season.

Shite is harsh, scored a decent amount of goals for a poor Swansea last season in his first year in the league. He's not better than Giroud though and isn't all that special.

For me Bony and Remy are in the same bracket. I don't see how they improve the squad. Also I like Giroud because he is a far better team player than those two.
If I'm not mistaken, Wenger said we are done with signing attackers. I don't think we are looking for anyone in that area of the pitch anymore. I suppose we will sign one CB and maybe a CM. Not sure if this mythical DM is coming.
