I think something is probably a lot closer to being concluded than Morrison, I say that because Pogba has been on the bench for a number of games this season - yes he hasnt got game time but him just being there is indication that SAF has a plan for him in the long term.
SAF also saying the lad wants to stay here (plus a interview i read not to long ago about him wanting to prove himself at United) fills me with more hope keeping him than i ever got with the Morrison saga
Morrison has ruined it for me, I really just can't be excited about Pogba right now knowing he could be leaving soon too.
Hopefully that was a glimpse of the future, just sign that contract lad. No better place for you than Old Trafford.

It would be the smart thing to do. Sends a message to the other young players. Show up to training, do your job, learn, don't act out and you will be rewarded. Don't and you're out.

He was good tonight. I've seen him in the reserves and he was good, he's come on before (first team) and not looked too great - perhaps he didn't have the time.
I really thought he was one of our best performers tonight, even though he only got half an hour. If he can keep up the performance tonight then I'll be a very happy man.
From tonights performance - he has a future here. I'd love him to get more game time this season to see how he performs when for example we aren't dominating and to see how consistent he can be.

As important as his contribution was his attitude, did you see that smile? I think he finally realised what he could be at ot tonight.

Magnificent cameo today though. Hope to see more from him. Could form an exciting partnership with Carrick or Scholes. Looks like he has the trickery to maybe play AM / deep lying striker as well, but that role is kinda reserved for Rooney at the moment.
I was very impressed, looked very mature. Hope he signs on. That said, it's different doing it at home to a knackered Stoke when the game's won, than doing it when you're losing away from home to Liverpool. Promising nonetheless.
I haven't seen his previous appearances but nice to know that he is capable of good stuff. If he stays and develops I can see he and Cleverly being very important to us in a few years time.
I think today we saw the difference between bringing in a kid in makeshift side versus a somewhat stable that can actually give the kid a platform to perform well. Delighted by his performance.

There is a lot of sense in that post, in my opinion.
I don't think that he would look out of place in any similar situation. Hopefully he is a valuable asset for a youngster and (more so) I hope that he realizes that.
Looked very good today, but we were leading the game at that point. Still...classy on the ball and willing to pass forward which is nice to see. Hopefully we can hold onto him after the Ravel debacle.
Good cameo. A few more cameo appearances throughout the season and he will find it hard to turn down a contract offer.

Fergie confirms that he's working on a deal for Pogba and that Pogba wants to stay at #mufc Few issues with him changing agents 3 times.
God I hope the 'complicated' comment is just about switching agents.

Think that's exactly what he means - they're all probably entitled to something or the other - and obviously all of that has to be taken into account by both the club and the player.

I've just watched Fergie's interview and after that comment on Pogba he said "but hopefully it will be sorted soon"
Great league sub debut. Looks like a great prospect and appears to be able to make that step up. But then again, this is based on last night's game only. We were cruising when he entered the fray as well. Definitely deserves to get more chances though. Would be interesting if he is played in the Europa league too.
