Wonder what the odds are on both Pogba and Daehli making a return to United at some point in the future?
Of course there was a choice, and if I'm not mistaken, also a promise of more play time and improved contract.
He just got his feelings hurt for not playing in one game and left. Add an eager agent, and that's that.
I don't think he would be doing anywhere near as well here as he is at Juventus if he had stayed. It's a lot easier to look good in a three man midfield with Pirlo/Vidal/Marchisio than it is to look good in a two man midfield with one of our centre midfield options. Does he play in a two man or three man midfield with France?
That surprises me a little bit actually as I didn't think his defensive game would be good enough right now to play as one of the two further back with a player like Nasri as the most attacking midfielder. I would have expected more of the latter trio with Nasri and Ribery on the wings. I suspect it could be like that at the World Cup now with someone in place of Nasri, maybe Griezmann. From what I can see, it's usually a three man midfield. Him and Cabaye/Matuidi as the CMs, and then Nasri pushing further forward as an attacking CM. Although I did see one formation that had him, Cabaye and Matuidi all together.
Are we really going to go through the same cycle again in this thread for the 1000000000th time? Can't we all just get over it yet?
He's just so good it brings back the pain every time I see him do something outstanding. It doesn't help that he's obviously still bitter about how it all happened and keeps talking about the way we treated him.
While on the subject Mats has more ability in his little toe than Ashley Young has, why was he never given a shot with us?

Christ, can't you muppets understand the lad was a lazy good for nothing cockbag who, even now, isn't half as good as he thinks he is. I'd actually like to see him and his agent wrangle a move to a really big club and see him fall on his arse. Takes a bit more than a few fancy tricks and a cracking long shot to impress for a really top side.

Because he wasn't ready for first team action at the time.
Arguably still not ready.
We're talking about Daehli now.

I don't think it's arguable at all. He'd walk into any midfield in the premier league.
We like going in circles here on the Caf don't we.
so Juve is not a really top clubChrist, can't you muppets understand the lad was a lazy good for nothing cockbag who, even now, isn't half as good as he thinks he is. Yup. Definitely be a squad player from what he's shown this season. Was Norway's best player on the night but seemed to fizzle out once they saw less and less of the ball.Bit harsh. When he played he was one of Cardiff's best outfield players in the second part of the season, and he consistently looked to be playing at a level above the rest of the team. Needs to improve his end product but from what he's shown in the PL so far I'd say he's definitely good enough to get game time for us. An intelligent, unafraid player with very good technique, I expect him to develop into a quality player during the next few years. He has balls too, I remember him berating his Cardiff captain for not doing his job on one occasion.

Barkley is just as good as Pogba if we could ever get Barkley here but he will definitely be at Everton for another 2 seasons at least...If Moyes had bought Strootman and McCarthy for the same money that he spent on Fellaini then we wouldn't be so obsessed with Pogba still but Moyes was about as far out of his depth as a manager can be
