PL fixtures & FA Cup Semifinals Apr 22-27

We've controlled the ball and game but offered United two great chances. I have a feeling we may regret not scoring while on top around the half hour mark. Kun should have scored but so should Herrera. Looks like Jose playing for a point and will hope for a 1-0 if the chance arrives. Longer this goes on the more I feel United might sneak this.

Games like this, generally the team with more quality finds a way to score one in the end.

I haven't seen City outside their games against us this season. Do they always play this tumescent sidewards pass-pass-pass crap? I assume its the 'Pep effect'?

Shite game from us, that idiot Fellaini getting sent of meant we had to play 10 against 12 for quite some time, miracle we got a point.

Probably the best result we could have hoped for, but we need to win our last four games to have any chance of being in that top four at the end of the season.

Stupid of Fellaini to let Aguero pull him into that.

Good result from a Spurs perspective: now effectively 10 points clear of City and 11 clear of United with 5 games to go.

Not that I think either team will catch us now, but it's good to reduce any possibility of us finishing outside the top 4.

I honestly think that's the worst result for you.
No side loses monentum, City's fixture list is just as easy as yours while a United win v Swansea puts you under so much pressure come Monday.

Looked like a mid table La liga match with all the play acting, diving, and melodrama.

The quality of play at times was shambolic.

You only need 5 points to finish top 4 and 7 to finish top 2.

I'd agree with this 100%.

City win would have been best for us I think - they have an easy run-in and I don't expect them to drop many points at all, so I can't see us finishing above them.

Happy enough with a 0-0 think it was more important for us not to lose than make sure of the win, luckily we've a far easier run in than United now

Kompany being fit is massive for us, we just look far more comfortable as an XI with him in the team.

It's only a bad result for whomever doesn't win their next game. Wobbly City now have determined Middlesborough and Pulisinho Utd have Swansea who really need all the points they can get to get out of bottom three.

After Monday night we can sit here and decide who was hit hardest from this outcome.

Must admit that I have a serious soft spot for Kompany, comes across incredibly well in his post match interview.

I think City are shit, i really do. And so is Pep, in a league which is showing its competitiveness (kinda)

Their squad has run its race, it needs ripping up, Gabriel Jesus is already being vastly overrated by them. KdB i dont think is as good as they claim, neither is Sterling in fact i dont rate Sterling. Sane looks decent, Stones is wank, Otamendi is a disaster waiting to happen and the goalkeepers are a joke

Aguero, Sane, Silva, KdB are genuinely the only ones id definitely keep.

Also, I think Arsenal and/or Utd is where Spurs definitely lose the title race

No, we can judge it now. Injury plagued and down to ten men for 15 mins and we grab a point out of it. Our squad will be buzzing coming out of that.
7 points from Chelsea, Burnley and City away is a fantastic set of results. Nobody thought we would have it in our own hands after this run of fixtures.

Can someone start a petition to Sky, BT, BBC and ITV.

Show the fecking game. How hard is it to have 1 camera. I do not care about fifty different angles of Fellaini getting booked in slow motion.

I would rather see the entire game and not miss his second foul which ultimately led to the red card.

Why do they keep having to show highlights, who the managers are, a child in the crowd every time it goes out of play. Even when the ball is in play, the can't wait to cut away from the actual match for some inane analysis from Jamie Redknapp.

Coverage has gone down the pan this season from all broadcasters.

Good result for Spurs? Here I was thinking that Spurs were challenging for the title.

We're judging it now? Ok, who's third? That was easy.

It really doesn't affect you in the slightest as you were nailed on for top 4 weeks ago.

Or we can keep going until we drop points so you can claim Liverpool have the advantage?
How far down the fixture list do you want to go?

We're judging it now. We're judging it down the line. Make up your mind.

Anyone else not a fan of Jose and Pep being all friendly and refusing to criticise each others tactics and teams?

I'm not looking at momentum, I'm looking at points dropped. I also think you'll come out of Arsenal and Spurs with 2-4 points and win the rest, so it really gives us no margin for error now.

I have to say I'm not confident that we'll win all four anyway. Southampton at home sticks out as the one we struggle with.
