It sounds cliched and people really don't realise it, but Programmers should still be running the show. fecking producers and all that bollocks, the amount of people named in end game credits, the amount of money it costs to make a game now. It's ridiculous!

However, I did hint earlier in this thread that I heard Sony were still undecided on the final memory amount as of recently, and devs still aren't 100% on it.
It's the early devkit, and it's wrong. PS4 is a 3.5GB box!
You can't got putting that amount of RAM onto a console motherboard, GDDR5 itself at 2GB is pushing it - that is the amount of VRAM for the APU, and you can't stack that amount internally I don't think either. As I've said, there is 512MB for cell, and 1GB of DDR3 for another thing (this is where they could add more, but it's not really needed - it's not going to be running Windows).

I'm no expert, in fact I know feck all about the inner workings of a computer\console, but I would have thought that Sony would have looked to have more RAM within it than that.
Why? what's it going to go with it. PS3 is 512MB, it's x6. You're going to get 2GB of RAM at around 256GB/s.
Let's put that into context, Cell and RSX combined have around 50GB/s.
