I hate, absolutely hate, to join the ranks of the "I think SAF has got it wrong" brigade.....
But I just can't help it, I'm sure I'll be proved wrong and all that, but if Owen and Berbatov are fit enough to play why start with 1 up front against Pompey?
Plus, as someone said, this is the kind of line-up for a top-4 clash where we need to control midfield. But here I'd expect Pompey to play deep, get men behind the ball and make life difficult for us, giving us as much of the ball as we want as long as it's 45 yards from their goal...
Like I say, I'm sure I'm totally wrong, and I hate to join the ranks of idiots criticising every XI that SAF puts out, but I'm not overjoyed by this line-up
