Doom-monger obsessed with Herrera & the M.E.N.
I am sure he was trying to match Koemens and beat him at his own game, if we had the players for that type of game or not.We were playing five at the back again?

That is how I feel, sad and sick to the stomach most weeks. I even contemplate not following them anymore, but they are the team I love and will always love, so that isn't going to happen. This manager is destroying my club. Trouble is this board no there are people like me and you and the others who will support the club through thick and thin. They take our support for granted.![]()
Wish he would go away.Basically both teams didnt create a chance, but the team with 1 chance (Soton) got lucky!![]()
I am going to have to improve my grammar, know not no. I have annoyed myself.Indeed![]()
Delighted for Austin today, his record and stats means he should be playing for a big club. Delighted he came on and scored from a football perspective.
As for Utd, same old shyte.
I dont and cant understand why LVG is still our manager but im now resigned to shit football and performances for the rest of the season.
This..I don't understand the players at times. There was no urgency, playing difficult rather than simple balls and giving away pointless free kicks.
Feck knows what Adnan was thinking. Rooney reverted to pre-Xmas form and effort, Smalling continuing his digressing, Blind playing his worse game in a United shirt. Lingard absolutely pointless being on the pitch. Fellani is just a foul machine. Only herrera and Schniederlin seemed to put in any effort.
Maybe he has been told to be more measured and not run around too much. That takes everything away from the lad. I said somewhere else that I thought the players look mentally shattered, not so much physically. The tactics have been that rigid at times that they then look lost when things aren't working. I just want this manager to go. Let Giggs manage until the end of the season. See if things improve with him. Not sure what he could do about results but the play might be better. This manager has left us with a squad down to the bare bones and that is all his fault. He knew what we needed and didn't address some of the needs. Then get a new manager in the summer to reconstruct this squad.

(on fans): I understand frustration. Soton were well organised. Lucky team (Soton) has won!
Any video of his post match bs?
Thanks Paz.

A new manager can change a lot of things, but he can't make them play quick enough to break down a well organized defence if the players can't pass accurately, have poor first touches, can't outturn anyone and can't cross. Every now and then they play at a high enough pace, but everytime it looks like they finally got it, they fall back into moving the ball around slowly. It must because they're not comfortable with moving the ball around at he high pace, because they don't have the technique. That's also visible if they do move the ball around at high pace, they hardly manage because they lack the real ability to do that and be solid.Bullshit. These players are excellent technically, they just have no confidence and are being managed appallingly. A new manager can change that.
He is just being incoherent. Says the game was winnable because SOT was poor too. Can only work further with his player to improve. Realises changes need to be made. Stressed the team won 3 times in 2016 (never mind the entirely unconvincing way we won them). Same steam pile of dung every week.
Soton lost their previous 4 away games before this match.
It's the same old bluff from him after every game. I actually think that because the players were on such a high after last week he didn't do much motivationally this week. SAF would have reminded them that this is a different game and would have still been in their ears wanting a performance in this game.Grammatical errors are excused in theheetheat of the moment.
Back to the thread, surely there is no way back for LVG now, despite how bullish he sounds in the post-match interview with the 'both teams didn't create anything, they scored with their one chance'. He's been regurgitating that bullshit all season! Why does he expect us to have a 100% chance conversion rate? It truly baffles me.
When Paddy Crerand says we were awful, just awful... you know we were absolutely worthless.
I d take Moyes right now!Would people take Mourinho right now ?
That is very true. Old Paddy would find a silver lining in anything and if he's given up, then it's end days now.
He was going mad before the game about last nights Youth Cup game, about who is doing out scouting and that they were on another level. Even Paddy has given up.That is very true. Old Paddy would find a silver lining in anything and if he's given up, then it's end days now.
He said before the game that Morgan and Herrera should have been in the middle and that Mata should have started. It did pick up after the change, but as usual Mata disappeared. He obviously doesn't like Fellaini.I don't blame him for wearing rose tinted glasses all the time with United but this time you could actually tell he was genuinely hurt by the performance.
MUTV - an ex united player Bojan (don't remember his last name) basically saying LVG should be fired...
Southampton were the away side, how did he think they would play? Doesn't mean we had to play like an away side as well. Both teams today were poor in general, but Soton had the better game plan again at OT. Soton scored on their first and I believe only shot on goal. That's United-esque. Once Ward-Prowse came on, you just hoped the United players didn't make stupid fouls in their defensive half....but sure enough they did!
