Good enough performance I thought. Blind, Young and Fellaini were all very good. Shame about Pogba. Horrid home support

We did well if you take in consideration empty stadium and Pogba injury.

Nice little win, hope Pogba's injury isn't too long.

Good win. Some might call it a routine win but after witnessing some dull performances and draws , I am very happy how easy work we made of our opponents.

I was a bit worried about the result when Pogba went off. But Fellaini did very well. Think I have to give MOTM to him, in fact.

Not a great game, but happy enough.

Glad to see Young doing well. He's a decent option!

I was worried that Pogba went injured but Fellaini was more than a capable replacement. Good win and strong offensively in the air again without much hassle defensively, typical Jose performance.

comprehensive and easy win. Nothing stellar, but won it without much effort like a top club should.

Shame about Pogba

Great result never looked in danger.
Annoyed about Pogba but we have Ander to come in as cover while he's out. I hope it's not too long we need him back for the Liverpool match.

Poor? Okay!

Well what would you call it? Thought we were sloppy at the back but got away with it caus they were shite. Better teams will punish us if we make those mistakes regularly, and going forward we were nothing special, and didn't need to be.

Fellaini had a good game, but I'm struggling to pick out anyone else that really impressed.

Like I'm not having a go, we didn't have to get out of second gear, just nothing to write home about.

Solid game from us. I don't think we ever went out of second gear.

Matic once again showing how good a signing he was. Rashford scores on his debut, again!
Lukaku is a beast who will score 35-40 goals easily.

The 3 behind Lukaku were uninspiring today. Started off really well, but then were pretty bad, especially in the second half. Mikhi was just losing the ball all the time.

Fellaini was the Motm. Wonderful showing by the big guy, showing everyone again why he's such a valuable squad player. Now on to Everton.

I have to take a moment to commend Ashley Young on his thoroughly solid, professional performance. The man doesn't play for what feels like months, and comes into the team like he's the starting right back. Always looks interested, gives full effort and never pouts when not given playing time. A true gem.

Love Fellaini too even though he's not the most elegant player, and never have understood the disdain some carry for him.
Matic played like crap tonight.

Can't wait for the Lindelof experiment to be over. Only good for cover at this point.

Whatever floats your boat.

What Lindelof experiment?

Did someone say our boys can't cross the ball? Those two crosses were sweet! Especially the Ashley Young cross.

I think Miki has to be the most frustrating player in that team.

Cue the standard 'Big teams will punish us' post.

Missed most of the match due to work but seemed fairly comfortable. Happy with the 3 points and 3 goals.

Worrying that I could hear the Basel fans so loud at the end, OT needs to get it's shit together for the next CL night - it may be the theatre of dreams, but not because everyone's sleeping.

The three M's behind Lukaku were terrible.

Fellaini and Young were fantastic and deserve some credit for a change.

A poor performance, but a great result.

We need to remember that the entire starting back four weren't playing tonight.

What Lindelof experiment?

The fact that he's wearing a red shirt? I trust Jones, Rojo, Smalling over him. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he had a crucial slip and was saved by an offside call against a subpar team. Hope I'm wrong because I don't like to see us waste money.

Very pleasing start to the season:

5 games
4 wins 1 draw
15 goals scored, 2 against

Lukaku 5
Rashford 3
Pogba 2
Martial 2
Fellaini 2
Bailly 1

Hopefully Pogba is not too serious

15 goals scored in the first five games. It was seven at this stage a year ago.
