Brandon Williams looks an exciting prospect
This.

He really impressed me. Moreso his composure. Honestly would just fecking play him. Would rather lose with the young ones than keep playing with the same players who've disappointed us over and over again.

Just been drawn Chelsea away in the next round.

Yeah but good teams such as Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea went through no problem.

Liverpool struggled today as well. They needed a colossal mistake by Dons to see them through. If anything 2-0 is a flattering result.

"Cup is cup" is not a pointless expression. Manchester City goes from being humiliated by Norwich to making Watford wish they could go home. The ball is round and all that jazz.

Oh yeah and all of these teams have individual players in key position that are far far superior to ours. Even our resident megastar with the fancy hair just flat out sucks sometimes. And Im a huge Pogba fan.

How did it ever get so bad? The new arrivals are head and shoulders above anything we have at the club and one of them came from the fecking championship! I can't wait until 80% of the entire squad is shipped out, they're either simply not good enough, have piss poor attitudes or a combination of both!

Ole and every one of those players bar James, Chong, Williams and Greenwood should hang their heads in shame. We had established internationals and a world cup winner on that pitch being made to look amateur by a team battling relegation two divisions below.

The lack of coaching from the staff along with the lack of professionalism and desire from the players is absolutely disgusting. The club we love is being destroyed. Heartbreaking to see what we've become.
Pretty much this. It was pretty disgraceful.

All these negative posts. On the plus side we won, only had one player injured, and Rochdale isn’t in the PL so we won’t face them again this season.

This is going to be the most depressing season yet post Fergie isn’t it.

Why didn’t pogba take a penalty when he was grabbing the ball off Rashford only a few weeks ago? I reckon we are still an absolute mess behind the scenes as well as on the pitch

Have said the same million times, we’ve seen it doesn’t get any worse.

I just cannot understand how a professional team be so inept at football. There is absolutely zero creative work being done in training, that much is obvious.

Are the players not carrying out Ole's instructions or are they not being taught? With our reserves being relegated and the U18s in sec division, there are issues across the club that require a complete overhaul. I know Ole is out of his depth with the 1st team squad but the owners are not bothered so this pain will last for several more years until they sell up.

He’s recovering from an injury.

I actually wish we had LVG to work with these young players. He's the right sort of coach to bring them on. Notice I said coach - not manager:D

Do you believe that none of Moyes, LvG, Jose or Ole carried out any remotely effective creativity training between them then?

Or are the players a joke?

I know which one seems more likely.

Seriously thinking of Ditching Sky Sports and switching off for at least August 2020.

At this rate Brexit will hapoen before we are ever goid again.

Seeing “Jolly Ole” at the end was hard to take. Seems his mindset isn’t in the right place

It has shades of Moyes being piggy in the middle during a training session

What are the odds that Greenwood finishes as our top goalscorer?
Would love it to be honest. In any case, the more he scores, the more confident he gets, and that will be good for both him and us.

Pressure......that's all it is. No hiding place at United.

Pretty dire performance. Positives were Williams and Tuanzebe performances and Greenwood’s goal but was poor otherwise.

God help us next Monday.

So much for a easy win as some on here was expecting. This great of players simply can and will continue to struggle against poor teams. The lack of leaders and players with real lack quality is very alarming. The tactics what tactics? How many aimless crosses and shots tonight I lost count.

As the greenday song said wake me up when September ends. Would be great if could sleep through the rest of the season as this is going to be very painful viewing watching it.

This first round has been a slaughter for the PL teams. Tottenham, West Ham, Bornemouth, Brighton all out. West Ham destroyed against Oxford, 4-0.
It's odd because i'm told on here the coaching is great at all those teams.

This was always going to be the case. We are building to compete in a couple of seasons. I had us picked for 7th in the league this season.
Clear some deadwood, fix your highest priority. Then we build forward next summer and the summer after.

There is bound to be some pain.

Lingard was pathetically bad. Has zero confidence. Movement, anticipation, shooting all poor.
Andreas better, but at fault for the goal.
Chong looked really bad.
Pogba clearly getting back into game shape.
Rojo almost gifted them a goal when he made a no need challenge in the box.

Positives
Greenwood. What can you say? Was a constant threat, had several good shots saved, scored the goal. Can’t really leave him out of the side at this point.
Fred. Looks much better. Still has accuracy issues with his passing.
Williams actually looked better than our other options at times, his interception was key.

I’m happy we played so many kids, and watching James and Greenwood come up and nonchalantly take and score their penalties made me happy.

Arsenal are going to have a field day against our bunch of spineless twats calling themselves a team, lead by a guy out of his depth.

I watched the whole 90mins, we were awful. Very disjointed, no cohesive plan going forward. We were bad honestly.

Ok, thanks. I believe you. I was glad to see Williams even though i only saw 20 minutes.
