2nd pen incident - Kane scores - 2:2
Did he actually touch him. Hard to see because it happens so fast?

Both teams drop points. Fantastic for us.
Wayne Rooney will be a pundit for Sky tomorrowInteresting

It is pretty easy to see in the replay.Did he actually touch him. Hard to see because it happens so fast?
Aye. But then Madrid have always found a way. TBF, Neymar rumours won't go away.I think they can't afford both. They would both cost about £200m minimum.
A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:
It was offside.
- gaining an advantage by playing the ball or interfering with an opponent when it has:
- rebounded or been deflected off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent
Look at the 1 minute mark. Clear as day.Did he actually touch him. Hard to see because it happens so fast?
No pen for me. But feck Livpool. That's just hilarious.
Well the FA website disagrees.
You'll make a serious profit on him if he does go. He's absolutely brilliant, gotta say I thought he'd be ok for you at best. he's been phenomenal.
Aye. But then Madrid have always found a way. TBF, Neymar rumours won't go away.
easy for you to say, lol, haven't seen it yet. Not that I care really. happy with a draw. Not sure Karius touched Kane for first pen.Maybe I need to clean my glasses. It is pretty easy to see in the replay.
Still smalltime. Still remember RvP scoring a hattrick for us after missing a pen. Didn't even celebrate properly. Class act. Kane as smalltime as this Tottenham team.

1st pen incident - Kane's pen saved by Karius
Isn't Kane offside when the ball is played to him? What does a defender getting a touch have to do with anything?
The offside decision is based on the position the attacking player is in when the ball is played through by the attacking player's team-mate.That's what I think but the lino and now Carragher seem to think the defender getting a touch means its not offside. I can't know more than a professional official and an ex pro player, can I?
Of course. From the laws of the game...
In the context of Law 11 – Offside, the following definitions apply:
“gaining an advantage by being in that position” means playing a ball i. that rebounds or is deflected to him off the goalpost, crossbar or an opponent having been in an offside position.
Surely this says that if a pass hits a defender on the way through, you're still offside?
I'm talking about the assistant ref. He did say that Kane was offside for the first penalty. He just didn't know whether the touch by the defender was deliberate or not. The ref was the one who decided that it was deliberate. For the first goal he was wrong
Did he actually touch him. Hard to see because it happens so fast?
There was no deflection. He tried to kick the ball and sliced it. He tried to play the ball.
Imagine Neymar, Salah and Kane as a front 3. I'd say better than even Barca's.
Deflecting off a player is not the same as not hitting it properly
You're still wrong though. There was no deflection. He tried to kick the ball and sliced it. He tried to play the ball.
With the linesman in the perfect place to spot it.They have just shown the 2nd penalty again and he definitely whacked him on the back of the leg.
They have just shown it again on TV, agree definite penalty.![]()
For those saying not a penalty
Thanks. Saw it now!Look at the 1 minute mark. Clear as day.
Surely the only reason the defender is trying to hack the ball away at that point is because Kane is behind him (in an offside position). Not sure how that's not interfering with play.
Didn't touch him apparently![]()

And this is with the force he'd use to clear the ball, since he's no idea that Lamela's approaching.![]()
