Can a loss be a win?
Can a loss be a win?
RAWK Mongorers said:I have never felt so up after a defeat to the cheats, outplayed them 11v11 and gave as good as we got when down to 10, not only did we outplay them we also outsung them and for the first time in ages we looked like a collective unit, how Berbatov got MOTM astounds me, he did nothing of note other than the dive, kudos for ITV for celebrating the art of diving, kids all across the land can now perfect their "slight touch i'm going down like i've been shot" routine as apparently it's all part of the modern game, feck that no wonder people are turning away from the so called beautiful game.
RAWK Mongorers said:Why didnt Rafael get a red card for his 2 footed stamp on meireles? If gerrard is sent off for 2 feet off the ground then surely Rafael had to go?
RAWK Mongorers said:Look at it in this way, we gave the mancs a run with just 10 men and a recent change of manager. We only lost because of a bent ref and a diving c*nt. Now we can focus on the league.
RAWK Mongorers said:Oh yes, and Kelly did a fantastic job nullifying Sir Ryan of Giggs!
RAWK Mongorers said:The happiest i've felt after a defeat to the mancs. Not that I don't give a shit, of course I do, but under Roy we would have lost this match and lost it without even putting up a fight. We would have played negative, dull defensive football and got rolled over. The players would have had the heads down and Mr Alex Ferguson would be opening a bottle of whisky in his office celebrating the demise of his enemies, gleefully rubbing his hands together at the thought of Hodgson continuing to drag us down.
RAWK Mongorers said:I'm gutted we didn't get the result because we thoroughly deserved it, at least a draw anyway. If Roy had still been here and we'd lost in the manner to which I'd become accustomed I wouldn't even be feeling anything right now, just numbness and apathy. To be honest I'm just glad to feel something again, even if it is disappointment and a burning sense of injustice against Howard fecking Webb.
RAWK Mongorers said:Beats me too. They played shit football as they have all season and, even when we were down to ten men, Reina wasn't exactly overworked
They're just fortunate that the league is worse than it's ever been this season with no really top quality teams - none of them has the remotest chance in the CL once they play anyone decent - so they're hanging on while playing pretty crap stuff
And of course Man Utd always seem to benefit from performances from officials, like today, far more than any other team
And as for Berbatov being MOTM?? I'll give him 5.9 for his dive but otherwise he was anonymous. He was certainly nowhere near the best player on the pitch
Crap, you saw it before I noticed the mistake
Liverpool FC fans to be banned from the internet on the basis that they are idiots. Petition
Just what the feck were they watching? Kelly kept Giggs quiet? His 37 year old legs were squirting out piss all over his face.
How were they bettering us at any point in the game?
Honestly, two completely different matches were watched.

It is amazing fantasy land stuff. I bet they'd ban anyone who pointed out they played exactly the same shite way they've played all year.
But then you might not have heard, Daglish has "earned the right" to lose EVERY game between now and May.
There's all this talk about how they fought for their performance, how they tried to come back and kept their heads high? When? What?!
Was a lunge yes, it wasn't two footed at all.
Silly challenge by Gerrard BUT - he was going away from Carrick who managed to come on from the side to get hit by him.
"How is this shower top of the league???"
From Sheffield. Ex-Policeman. I'll let you figure out the rest.
did they even have 8 chances? Did they even get in our box 8 times?

True. They are a small team now Hectic. Keeping it down to only 1-0 is considered a victory and a battling display.
Just like say Stoke did well to battle to a 2-1 defeat on Tuesday.
Magical Scouse tellies I reckon
From the BBC:
There was little doubt in my mind he was going for the ball and Carrick slid in in front of Gerrard.
Outplayed them. Everyone did their bit. Total improvement on and off the ball.
Unfortunately nothing can stop Man Utd from playing 12 men at home and Mr Webb performed as brilliantly as ever.
Sour taste in my mouth over the 'decisions' but I'm not bothered about losing because I saw Liverpool Football Club playing out on that field today.
europe league it is then
If that's how King Kenny can change the team after only a few hours with them I can't wait until he's had them on the training pitch for a couple of weeks.
Keep you head up lads we are finally going in the right direction.
10 men most of the match and they only scored by a dodgy pen. I would say we are great
God I feel like crying listening to Kenny. What a man. He's fecking brilliant.
Well Dalglish has just said it wasn't a pen or a sending off, so that's good enough.
What?
