Started 4 of the last 5. Despite not always being in the middle Moyes is clearly giving him a chance to show why he should be picked more.
Every manager does it. Stop being led by your agenda.
to the extent that moyes has though?..i'm left scratching my head sometimes..what's my agenda?
It's hard to know what Moyes would be hiding where "Kagawa ate himself into a stupor" is a preferable deflection.

I think it was the latter brophs. Some of the odd things Moyes has said have been deflections.
You don't rate Moyes therefore everything he does is given a negative slant. None of us have any idea what happened, but if it was a deflection, how is it any different from the hundreds of times Fergie did it? We have people now judging him on his body language and the like. It's utter nonsense. If he was strutting down the touchline we'd have people saying "Who does this cnut think he is, acting like he owns the place?"it doesn look good for moyes though. i know i'm coming across like a grouch but even though moyes wasn my choice at all for united manager, i really want to get behind him but he keeps saying weird stuff in the press.
for the shaktar presser, the press officer had to step in after he said the newcastle defeat raised his spirits.....WTF

He's been a bit clumsy at times, sure. But it's perfectly normal for a manager to feed 'em some bollocks as a diversion - so if that is what's going on here, there is no cause for alarm. Nothing wrong with Shinji either, it would seem, as he is starting tonight.
He's such an imaginative player but really needs to take more responsibility for making things happen. Giving the ball back to Rio or Jones doesn't help us much.
Tidy? He hid once again.
Still a bit too safe and slightly bollockless for me given the reputation of him through the middle...but tidy enough to escape a roasting.
Hasn't justified any of the hype yet and you can't say he hasn't had the chances now. Starting to doubt that he's got the bollocks to play here.
He barely touched the ball second half. It's easy to look tidy if you don't get involved in the game in their half.Yes, tidy. Kept it ticking and set up Giggs and Rooney for two chances we could and maybe should have scored from. Not great by any means, but a satisfactory and tidy game nonetheless. There can be balance when it comes to assessing Kagawa.

He had 55 touches and 92% pass accuracy in the second half (100% aerial duals won too apparently) according to whoscored. He wasn't shit by any means but tidy is a good description. He needs a goal to give himself some confidence though, he doesn't impose himself as much as he could with his ability. Still decent enough though, and deserves to keep his place (on the wing though). He barely touched the ball second half. It's easy to look tidy if you don't get involved in the game in their half.
You can't rely on a website to tell you how involved a player was. 55 touches? You could have four or five of them every time you get the ball before releasing it. How often did he get himself involved in the position he was supposed to be playing in? How often did he link with his full back?He had 55 touches and 92% pass accuracy in the second half (100% aerial duals won too apparently) according to whoscored. He was on the left of midfield for the last thirty minutes. It's his job to show up there at least occassionally. Januzaj wasn't great but what he always looks to do is go forward. He's always looking to get involved in the final third and take responsibility. Kagawa doesn't do that anywhere near enough.Only Jones Giggs and the center backs had more passes then him in the game (Giggs had 3 more at 53). What do you mean link with his fullback? He didn't play on the wing. Even when RVP came on, he tracked back like the left winger but going forward he always goes central, linking with the fullback isn't what he does really. I'm not saying he was great, but he wasn't bad either. He had a perfectly average performance but when he doesn't have a fantastic game people will always come to criticize him because some other people love to hype him up way too much.
He made a few good goalscoring chances that if Rooney or Giggs didn't feck up we'd have won more comfortably, he also had that one good shot. What did Januzaj do today? I love him and think he's going to be a great player but he was less involved then Kagawa was, or any of our other front 6 players.
