Btw how about this formation
De Gea
Jones-Rio-Evans-Evra
Fletch-Anderson
Tony-Young-Nani
Rooney
Loads of pace and creativity in this team. I'll still go with a 4-4-2 mind, but this could be an option in the future.
De Gea will be in for some aerial bombardment. But see us comfortably winning this 0-4
I expect there to be many changes for the CL game. We'll probably rest a few for that and rest some of the others for Norwich. There are some worries about this one. It's not all that easy winning every game and only 3 days later on we have the champions league game waiting. Those things always make a difference.

Rooney also tweeted about how many empty seats there were at the City v Everton game. Would the players be watching that game if prepping for their match?

Lots of rumours that Rooney won't start today due to hamstring trouble.
The match will be hard enough as it is without us missing Rooney as well![]()
That game was quite a number of hours before our game.
Yes, but I doubt SAF would consider watching City to be adequate matchday preparation. If we were at home then fair enough, but I'd imagine the squad would be doing something all together.

He wasn't watching City, he was watching his boyhood club Everton. He was also tweeting about the Ranger-Celtic match just before our match with Chelsea, he did play that one.
I hate when people write "might be proved wrong".
You know - you tweet.
You don't know - you don't tweet.
