Extremist thugs? Flair for the dramatic?
Not at all. I am only repeating what was said today by a number of those Labour MP'S who have chosen to leave the party.
They know exactly what has been going on inside the Labour.
Extremist thugs? Flair for the dramatic?
Of course they did. Lots of people predicted Brexit would be a disaster. It's the biggest thing to happen to the country for 50 years, so yes, it is extreme. And its what Corbyn and McDonnell wanted.Yes it was .But it was hardly extreme . It was the formula answer to a Brexit defeat .No one knew back then what a mess it would become.
The policies around Brexit are changing on an almost daily fecking basis!
But that's the exact problem with the referendum result, too. The referendum was won based upon promises, lies, and deceit and the Brexit we will get does not resemble what anyone voted for. If a by-election is justified because the landscape has significantly changed and new facts have emerged then the same is true, if not more true, for Brexit.
The fudemenral of exiting the EU have not changed, but details on the how are in flux
I find it hard to compare with an MP changing their party, which is then compounded by a fudemental shift in policy
Edit - some people do vote of the color or the rosette and not so much the person

Kinnock and major?
Apparently he hasn't spoken to Luciana Berger since 2017... Which frankly seems strange given what's been going onThe Labour party in-fighting on Twitter is a sight to behold. Absolutely fecking infuriating that the party is riven with divisisons at such a critical time in the history of the UK. The buck for this has to stop with the bloke in charge. History will not look kindly on Jeremy Corbyn.

That's poor if true. But it's not like anyone thought he'd be a great leader in the first place so not surprising.Apparently he hasn't spoken to Luciana Berger since 2017... Which frankly seems strange given what's been going on

Look at that world class journalism in action there. Making sure to step in to stop the politician having to answer a difficult question.
Out of the policies that he put forward in the last election.Which one was the most Extreme.
Brexit.
What about Brexit.
Have you forgotten your own question?
It's an impossible position... practically the whole cause of the current political rift in both of the major parties is the EU referendum. How are you supposed to unite voters behind you when they are still split on the issue? The whole situation has become completely tribal. It's a complete mess, but how do you resolve something like that? I find it hard to believe that anybody could unite the party under the current circumstances unfortunately.
Well no. That logic would also rule out a need for a by-election too.
You vote for a person in our system. The 'fundamentals' of your representation have not changed because you are still being represented by that person, but the 'details' on how they are doing it have.
And hey, if you don't like how they've chosen to represent you you, at least, have the opportunity of booting them out in the next election.
Ahh Chukka, the same attention starved mug who edited his own Wikipedia page to describe himself as ‘The British Obama’. Surprised its taken him this long considering the years hes gone being outside of the Labour spotlight.
That was what Berger said herself when asked... Owen Jones was in five live after defending it saying he sent some letters and there are many MPs he's does not have one on one chats with... Frankly as a leader of an organisation myself I'd consider it dereliction of duty not to be communicating with somebody getting the abuse she wasThat's poor if true. But it's not like anyone thought he'd be a great leader in the first place so not surprising.
That Labour are a bigger mess than the Tories takes some doing. Still don't think these guys have done right by quitting.
she said "black or funny tin*mumbles*" as the presenter asked in confusion "funny tinge?"Audio cut out half way through. Did she specifically mention people of a "funny tinge"?
The launch is going well
