I just don't know who could stop Brock now. Would love to see Arlovski fight him, if he could keep it off the floor for a sufficient length of time, he could easily out-box Lesnar. Josh Barnett would also be a shout, though not a very good one.

fedor...
it is crazy that brock weight 265 for the weigh in and is probably 290+ when fighting...
most heavy weights dont even cut and come in around 225-245...
if there was a super heavy weight class lesnar wouldnt even get to fight the guys he does now...
still it would be interesting to see if he could baimtain his fighting style for 5 rounds... just a case of finding somenody who can take him into the later rounds...
personally id like to see mma go the way of bjj competitions and you have to weigh in just before the fight...
afterall there was alaves weighting 197lbs fighting in the 170lbs division yesterday...
weigh in on the day and fight at the weight you weigh...
for example if lesnar fought fedor he could well have a 5 stone advantage... which is a crazy amount (id still back fedor though because hes just that good and he hits just soooo hard)
B.J. Penn vs. Kenny Florian (for the LHW Title)
Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin (@ LHW)
Brock has taken IGF-L3 (HGH-1). ive seen him at 330lbs with 6% body fat.
That is not natural. The UFC need to test for forms of HGH, but this would take tissue tests, so that wont happen. I wouldn't put his success all down to drugs tho, he has incredible strength and skills.
But these strains of HGH are a lot more effective and do make a massive difference in strength and stamina, and also in recovery and injury repair.
I dont know if Brock is using hormones now, but a lot of medical evidence is now showing that the use of L3, does not reverse, and tendon strength and muscle size/strength remains after the athlete ceases to use.
This will always cloud his success in the eyes of some people.
Same with Tim Sylvia and his steroid abuse.
Yeah, the WWF/WWE actually encouraged the use of Steroids so the wrestlers would have more of a visual impact. And that was fair enough because it was all make believe. But MMA should be a test of skill/ability on a level playing field.
MMA is evolving so quick, and becoming a serious sport, i just hope all the showmanship bollox doesn't come with it.

Did you not see Lesnar after his victory last night? Was like something from a Royal Rumble.
Have there been any characters like Brock Lesnar in the UFC before? I just have no idea what Dana's reaction might be. On one hand, he could see this is a great opportunity to increase ratings. On the other, he's been going on about how he wants the UFC and MMA in general to gain recognition as a genuine sport, instead of being compared to the entertainment bonanza that is American wrestling.
At least you're consistent.
I agree that Fedor could beat Lesnar, as I've posted before, but it certainly wouldn't be a gimme. And it's so ridiculous what weight he was, had about twice as much muscle as Mir! Fighters are never the weight they weigh in at when it comes to the actual fight, but Brock is just ridiculous. Only way around it would be a weight-cap on heavyweight (which I could never see happening), a super-heavyweight division (of which Brock would be the only member) or as you said, weigh in on the day, which would be a brilliant idea.
They say Brock is a freak of nature, whereas Fedor is a freak of technique (it rhymes so it must be true). Like you said, he's just THAT GOOD. His punches are indeed hard, but the main thing about them is that they hit so accurately (cf. his last two fights).

Last night was full of highs and lows... the Lows being from a personal standpoint, my mate TJ lost and the Prelims were poor, but the maincard was exciting, with a few dominating performances, and a few close ones.
I must say 100 got me pumped for 101, a card i've been saying since as far as i can remember would be better:
B.J. Penn vs. Kenny Florian (for the LHW Title)
Anderson Silva vs. Forrest Griffin (@ LHW)
Amir Sadollah vs. Johny Hendricks
Kendall Grove vs. Ricardo Almeida
Josh Neer vs. Kurt Pellegrino
Shane Nelson vs. Aaron Riley
Tamdan McCrory vs. John Howard
Thales Leites vs. Alessio Sakara
Matt Riddle vs. Dan Cramer
George Sotiropoulos vs. Rob Emerson
Jesse Lennox vs. Danillo Villefort
I think you mean LW title.
But the Forrest vs. Silva fight is the one I want to see, this will set up Forrest again for a title shot if he can squeak out a victory. Silva can't be arsed to show up for fights anymore, so this will be a very good test for him.
Can't wait to see Hendo vs. Silva again, or possibly the rumored GSP/Silva fight.
Penn will win, he just owns that division like GSP does the Welterweights.
GSP is small from a ww. The idea of pushing up a weight and challenging himself must be an appealing one, but he must fear that he will be kicked around by much bigger and stronger men. Even if he did put weight on, he'd still be very small for a mw. Imagine him against the likes of Henderson.
Does anybody hate Brock? I despise him for no particular reason.
??? He's not small for a WW. He walks around at 185 all the time;
.

danas a very good business man...
i doubt he likes one of his employees bitching about a main sponsor in the middle of the octogan...
Brock apologized at the press conference after the fight and had a bud light with him. I guess Dana White talked some sense into him.
I am glad that Bisping got knocked out, he was a total cock during that whole show.

Lesnar is an absolute arsehole. Suprised to see nobody has mentioned about the fact that Lesnar and Mir nearly kicked off again after the fight.
I doubt he gave a feck. As far as Bud are concerned, all publicity is good publicity. How many other fighters name-checked their brand?
I hope this loss will shut Bisping up a bit. Always been talented, but my god does he talk some shit.
I He must have been delighte to see the big, hateful prick playing the bad guy.
Pretty sure he gave a feck, considering Brock had a press conference later on where he apologized and drank a Bug Light.
