I don't think that is what he said though - he said he would be happy to win a cup but our main aim is to win the title/champions league. I honestly do not see much wrong with that. I could be a fool though, an optimistic auld fool!
Yeah we aren't at it yet, I put it down to a general lack of match sharpness and possibly not full fitness yet. We will improve a lot but we need to do it soon and try and get a rhythm going.
Once Alli finds his form, you'll be fine I'm sure. Eriksen is a shinging light in that team, I've been hugely impressed with him the last 2 games.
We want to win trophies of course we do but if you could choose between a domestic cup or a league title I don't think many people would differ on it. We desperately need to win something.
I think spurs have a great chance to equal Arsenals champions league titles
This is why I feel they really need a pacy, wide attacker that can get in behind and stretch the opposition. Right now they're still too dependent on Kane, Alli and Eriksen to create everything.
Cheeky cheeky!
Clearly they've already equalled it![]()
They won't come up against a Chelsea defense every week, just as they won't perform at this same level every week. If you are going to ridicule the fact of facing Chelsea every week, then you should recognise the ridiculousness in saying this level of performance can be repeated "every week".Mmmm! yes! because they'll come up against a Chelsea defense every week of course!
They didnt put Chelsea under any pressure at all today, Nope!![]()
One thing for sure is they have an amazing ability to avoid blatant red cards.
Comparing @balaks to @GlastonSpur is like comparing fine steak to canned spam. Glaston's just a joke, no-one takes him seriously.
Glaston and @InLevyITrust were both on here posting their usual blurb at 2.30 within a minute of each of other and neither have been around since...

But it gets hard to cheer them when the most annoying poster on this forum is a Spurs one.
The worst thing is even if Spurs go on to return to their previous level, he will still be here baiting everyone with childish digs.
Done that in the last week .As much as he is tedious there are posters who themselves derail discussion by attempting to bait him. Just put him on ignore and that's the end of it.

@GlastonSpur You alive mate?
It's amazing how many alerts I get each time Spurs lose a game, which luckily isn't often.
I thought we played fairly well today. It was similar to the semi final in that we maybe deserved to win, but came away with nothing. Wanyama didn't have a good game, Lloris was at fault for their second goal but that aside I'm reasonably happy with how we played.
Yeah it was very close. Chelsea were lucky halftime arrived when it did; that was Spurs' best period and you looked like scoring. I was surprised you didn't attack the channels as much in the 2nd half, though to be fair it seemed as though Conte adjusted the positioning of the midfielders to cut off service into those areas specifically as that was where your best attacks were coming from.
I also felt like Alli didn't get involved nearly enough, though it seemed as though Azpilicueta was almost man marking him at times so that's a tough ask. Still, considering how effective crosses towards him were last season I would have expected to see more of those.
David Luiz was the key to Chelsea being competitive in midfield I thought; it's pretty remarkable how little time teams have in that zone against Spurs. Dembele in particular was a monster, though his final ball lacked a tiny bit of sharpness.
Yeah Trippier didn't have a good game. I'll be interested to see if he steps up this season to successfully replace WalkerSo much for Trippier's "accurate" crossing eh? He wasn't terrible and did well in that moment where Kane was sleeping but for the rest it was just meh.
Luiz was awesome, did you see how he was one of the first players to press the Spurs defense? Pretty astute from Conte, no opposing manager can expect that from a defender/defensive midfielder to be honest. Dembele is great at certain stuff, like shielding the ball and winning it back, dribling down the line etc - but what does it lead to? That's his problem really, he has no end-product and often just ends up delaying the play and inevitable clearance from the other team. Great defensive destroyer, terrible end-product. And insanely slow... can't have immense strength, weight, technique and pace in one player - unless you are Paul Pogba of course.
