I like Utd but damn why you guys got to rub it in so much? I get it you hate Spurs.

Blame Glaston. I used to like spurs but his constant arrogant nonsense on this forum changed my mind. I also don't like Ali, think he's a spiteful diving snide cnut.

Thought Davinson Sanchez was partially at fault for first goal and very poor for second.

Their season might unravel pretty quickly. They’re five points ahead of Chelsea and still have to go to Stamford Bridge.

Drop points somewhere else and the pressure will be on.

I'm guessing most of us actually like (our would like) Spurs if it wasn't for Glaston. I know it's irrational to let one person wind you up so badly but you can't understand how fecking annoying he is. It's a testament to how much he pisses us off that everyone was rooting for Juve tonight. I'm guessing if he wasn't on this forum we wouldn't really care and there would be a lot on Spurs' side

With how Spurs are doing their work, in an ideal world we should be rooting for you in situations like this but your fanbase consisting likes of Glaston, Sir Pissy etc. have made it very very easy to laugh at your misery. Anyways, don't take what is said on this board personally, there are more things in life to be worried about.

Having said that, inexperience really showed tonight for Poch and Spurs. At 1-0, he should've locked out the tie. Let Juve have the ball and hit them on break, even at 1-1 he had that option. To leave that much space behind for Dybala to run through with the tie being on knife edge is criminal. This is why him and most importantly your fans shouldn't turn your noses at competitions like Europa League or even League Cup, if you go deep in either competitions you're better prepared for these two-legged ties.

Funny enough I like Spurs, I like your team and your manager but there's this guy by the name Glaston or so that always tries his best to get on people's nerves. Ever had a word with him? I think most United fans like Spurs at least more than your London rivals but that guy makes you lot look worse than you are.

Same here. And Lamela even more since he’s a spiteful diving snide cnut and also shite.

Couple of things.
A section of United fans like myself admire Pochettino, much to the displeasure of others.
Second, your man... Glaston
I actually do have a lot of time for Spurs.

Just like Dortmund, this is not a great Juventus-team. Lots of old and slow players, they will never win the trophy this season.

They do have bottle and experience though. When it looks uncomfortable, they see 30 minutes to score two goals - no need to panic. Exact opposite for Spurs, they took a mental break and everything collapsed. They are not good enough to switch off, easy as that. Kane is world-class, Eriksen is extremely well-adjusted in his role - the rest is pretty meh at this level. Oh, I really like Son too. Alli is Alli, doesn’t really contribute a whole lot and spends a lot of time on the floor whining. Spurs have a great system making not so good players look fluid, wheas United have a lot of great attackers not looking fluid at all. All in all the two sides are pretty even, both with no chance in the CL of course.

Spurs need a winner or two in their team, this lot knows nothing about winning - unless you count Aurier and Lucas, although winning the league in France counts as much as winning it with Celtic.

Some of us aren't so stupid to rub it yet considering we have our game coming up. Thought you were very unlucky tonight, played very well, but sadly knock-out football can be a bitch.

Hard luck. Naive from Spurs. Even at Juve the goals were poor and today it was worse. Europe can be a pain against sides like Juve if you aren’t switched on until the end. Couldn’t react to Allegri’s subs and folded after that. It really was a good tie and Spurs can learn from it. But it really wasn’t over like many thought it was throughout until Juve went ahead and people realized how little was in it. Good luck next time. You are mostly a decent poster so the goading will be reserved for the others.

It's been said a lot, but Glaston and another Spurs fan on a different forum I frequent.

I actually quite like how Spurs play, but those two ruin ye for me.

It’s 10% down to the fact that you are better than you used to (which is a huge compliment!), 90% down to a certain individual on this very forum. Had this individual supported Arsenal or Chelsea, we wouldn’t see the same gloating I’m sure.

I was thinking the same thing, beat Sevilla and get through safely first then people can gloat about spurs losing to one of the best teams in Europe over the past 5-10 years.

To be fair, they did well getting out of the group stages and anything beyond that is a bonus.

They're not a big club, despite the U.K media (and some very deluded Spurs fans) doing their best to suggest otherwise.

There's a culture of being the 'plucky loser' rooted within the club, that, until addressed properly will continue to see them fail at actually winning something.

Spurs weren't strong enough in the boxes. Both offensively and defensively. They dominated the rest of the pitch inbetween but at this level you have to be decisive when it matters. Allegri was talking about being patient before the game. And this is with them needing to score not Spurs. So they knew exactly what they were doing in that 1st half. It was obvious they studied Spurs weaknesses and decided to stay calm and composed and take their chances when they came.

Guess Glaston is main reason for all the reaction but hey things could be worse, like some of them watching filthyfellas on top of it, that Mitch guy (Spurs fan), oh my.

Apart from that cnut aka Alli, I also like Spurs very much and prefer them to win things, finish in the top 4 instead of Liverpool, Citeh, Chelski etc. but truth be told; they are the ultimate definition of "bottlers" aren't they?

Spurs played well over the two legs and could have won if not for those lapses in concentration. Pochettino got it wrong with his changes I felt. They're a good team though and will be back here next season. This type of tie is a great learning experience against a Juve team that's been in these kinds of situations a lot more

Feck Alli though

Wow, BT showing the full Chiellini interview. He's basically said Spurs' are internationally renowned bottlers in the politest, least disrespectful way he could! :nervous:

What a label to have!

Apart from Glaston and Delllli and Kane, and Son. And Wembley. And Potch. I find Spuds tolerable. Get in Juve. They defended with body, heart and soul. Chiellini. Bouffon. Watched the Real fans going mental last night.

“I thought I knew what the group might need, that we didn’t need a big team talk,” said Keane. “It was Tottenham at home. I thought please don’t go on about Tottenham, we all know what Tottenham is about, they are nice and tidy but we’ll fecking do them. He came in and said: ‘Lads, it’s Tottenham’, and that was it. Brilliant.”

How Spurs react will be interesting too. When they lost the title run to Leicester in that season, they collectively lost their minds, kicked Chelsea players in a match which Clattenburg (effectively!!) controlled. And then went on to lose it and finish below Arsenal.

Would be good to see if they have matured in these 3 years.
