Compulsive & pathological liar, bully, racist, sexist prick who has abused countless women and cheated multiple times even when his wife was pregnant and after when his son was new born then paid the women off? The man who has endangered countless lives, the environment & world security and has destroyed alliances that have been strong for decades purely for profit or out of spite.
I am struggling to think of anyone who deserves less respect than Trump.

Dershowitz is known to be quite vindictive behind the scenes. I've heard he has called various law firms and told them not to hire his students he didn't like or that may have voiced questionable views on Israel. Wouldn't at all be surprised if he uses his network of contacts to gin up an ethics charge on Avenatti.
Please do expand on this. Sounds like something we would like to know.....
I've followed him since the mid 80s and he's been involved in all sorts of drama ranging from plagiarism cases to getting involved with an underaged teenager to bullying people who dared criticize his actions to going after people because they criticized Israel.

From 6 minutes in, who's right? Legally has Michael Avenatti violated an ethical code by having a conversation with Cohen without his lawyer's approval, as Alan D. claims? Both seem so sure. Who's right?
This guy is going around doing rallies all the time. Doesn't he have a fecking job to do? How is this allowed? Why is the tax payer paying for this fool's #Maga campaign?

The problem with this rhetoric is that hate talk/right-wing radio and websites, disinformation campaigns, a two-decade long hit job on Clinton, and Fox News collectively had a far more significant impact (and that's before the Russian meddling is factored).
There is some truth such acts as pointed out by Shapiro and ilk played a very small part in the election of Trump, but that's ignoring the foundation that gave rise to Orange Julius. It's attempting to shift majority blame to the left side. And, technically, the electoral college gave us Trump as more people preferred his opponent. My vote ultimately did not count due to the state I reside in and yet politicians will claim our democracy is great.

Lots of jobs, but the jobs being added are low paying jobs. Wages have failed to keep up with inflation. This is true both with Trump and Obama.

This is what Alan is talking about. But what Alan clearly has no idea on is the case isn't between Clifford and Cohen. Avenatti's case is Clifford v Trump. Cohen is only a witness to the case. To which he has pled the fifth. Alan used to be highly respected but he clearly has lost the plot. I have never taken a law course in my life and it took me 2 mins to figure that out. Avenatti has his i's dotted and his t's crossed.
Cohen as far as I know doesn't have any lawsuit against him at this time. Avenatti can talk to him about matters related to stormy's case vs Trump once Cohen is fine with it. Remember Cohen has tapes that could be instrumental to the case (of which he is not a party of)
Avenatti butting heads with Dershowitz was inevitable imo. Both are brash in yer face types and both talk a big game for their respective sides of the debate on TV.
Avenatti clearly has political ambitions and is using each chance he gets to attack the likes of Cohen, Trump, Giuliani, and now Dershowitz to make himself look like Giulliani did when he used the fame he received for crushing organized crime back in the 80s to springboard into a political career. Avenatti is basically doing the same thing and so anyone who criticizes him (like Dershowitz) will be seen as a threat.
As for Dershowitz, he is a known Israel hawk and has clearly made a tacit deal with the (orange) devil whereby he is running interference for Trump in the media on all things Russia as long as Trump continues to be pro-Israel, move the Embassy to Jerusalem and generally be pro-Bibi, and also continue to promote Dershowitz's book.
So in the end it was inevitable that both Avenatii and Dershowitz would one day butt heads to protect their respective political interests.
The GOP acted in the same way under Obama, tbh.

Indeed they did. They blocked almost everything just on principle. They did it so much that the country almost defaulted on its debt at the risk of losing its triple A rating and not being able to pay anyone that worked for government. And if they didnt block it, they added a bunch of stupid shit to any bill so that it wouldnt get through either. Lucky for Trump most people seem to have short memories.
