West Brom v Manchester United

How come every single poster puts Tosic in the side, or on the bench? I'm pretty sure he's not even in the squad for the game.

United (from): Van der Sar, Foster, Kuszczak, Neville, Vidic, O'Shea, Chester, Eckersley, Ronaldo, Carrick, Fletcher, Gibson, Possebon, Scholes, Giggs, Cleverley, Berbatov, Tevez, Macheda, Brandy, Petrucci.

The squad above is taken from TeamTalk.

VDS
Fletcher - Neville - Vidic - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Scholes - Carrick - Giggs
Tevez - Berbatov

Foster, Chester, Eckersley, Gibson, Possebon, Petrucci, Marcheda

Knowing Fergie, this won't be the team fielded tonight. I can see one of Gibson or Possebon starting for either Scholes or Giggs.

On a side note, I'd be fantastic to see Petrucci or Marcheda given a chance if we are comfortably leading. Been watching the pair every chance I get on MUTV and they both look extremely talented. Petrucci in particular is so classy for such a young age.

How come you're such an idoit and believe teamtalk?

Chester, Petrucci and Macheda where all involved with the reserves last night. Doubt they'll be included, Petrucci is the only one who came off early during the match.

Just checked, Chester and Macheda both played the full 90 mins last night.

Whilst Petrucci was taken off in the 64th minute, his pass for Brandy's goal was a picture perfect pass.

If any are involved on the bench I'd guess at Petrucci, solely as he came off early. Although we have another Reserve game this week.

After watching Chester for the reserves yesterday - I will take a Jonny Evans in his current condition over Chester any day of the week

I thought chester was pretty good for the most part, very good in the first half.

BIG-MATCH FACTS

Bottom plays top at the Hawthorns, as lowly West Brom chase a fourth successive home league win and pacesetters Manchester United bid for a sixth successive Premier League maximum.
United will set a new top-flight record of 11 successive clean sheets, if they manage a shut-out against the Baggies.
If United keeper Edwin Van Der Sar keeps West Brom at bay for 84 minutes, he will set a new Premier League record for consecutive minutes without conceding a goal. He will pass Peter Cech's mark of 1,025 minutes accomplished between 12 December 2004 and 5 March 2005.
The Red Devils have registered as many wins on their Premier League travels, as the Baggies have managed at home; five.
A clear three-goal victory for West Brom would see Sir Alex Ferguson's club losing top spot. Indeed a two-goal victory would have the same outcome, if the Red Devils scored no more than one goal.
Manchester United are unbeaten in their seven Premier League matches against West Brom and hold a 100% record at the Hawthorns, having won three of three.
Albion last beat United on home soil 25 years ago. Steve Mackenzie and Cyrille Regis were on target when they enjoyed a 2-0 top flight triumph on 31 March 1984.
Distance between the clubs: 77 miles (123 kilometres)

Hope Tosic gets a run out. wouldn't be a bad game for his first start. Didn't put a foot wrong against Derby and if Park is still a doubt then i don't see why not.

Also i know it was only one free-kick but it was a cracking delivery.

Imagine the conversation between him and Ronaldo should we get an opportunity close to goal.

Tosic: Can i take it, it's better placed for my left foot.
Puppet Ronnie: I take freekick.
Tosic: Just this once?
Puppet Ronnie: I score goal.
Tosic: Come on?
Puppet Ronnie: I take freekick, i score the goal, i win the award, i crash my car.
Tosic: Ah for feck... fine, you have it.

Ah for feck sake. Why in this day and feckin age can't we watch what we want to watch ? Why on earth are they showing the feckin Villa game on Sky Sports 2 and they're not showing the league leaders playing ?
