WWC19 | Final: USA v Netherlands

This game has been fun and all with the controversy but the quality has been absolutely horrible for 90% of the game.

It feels like it's 50/50 whether a player will throw herself off balance when crossing and fall over.
 
Why is he asking for VAR when 3 nil down more than 5 minutes into 7 minutes of injury time?

Feck me, that tackle. Cameroon have been disgraceful in this game.

There's no discussion to be had on it. It's wrong, entirely wrong. Imagine if every nation behaved in this manner? Unless Cameroon can approve international football with a lot more maturity, they shouldn't be playing international football.

That’s why I said rightly or wrongly. For today it will just be confirmation bias from most parts. I know all decisions today were correct but Cameroon social media is already going crazy accusing FIFA of being bent. The few reasonable voices trying to speak reason aren’t being heard.
 
One thing this game has shown through VAR is how inept this referee is.

Missed an elbow, missed a blatant red there, missed spitting, allowed an entire team, including the captain, to kick off at her multiple times with visible displays of dissent, and has barely done anything about it.
 
The worst referee in football history. What a shambles. How have they made VAR such a disaster.

Referee also has no business being allowed near a professional game again.
 
Ref is a bigger bellend than the Cameroon players. Completely lost control.
 
They should be ashamed of themselves. Women's football has become known for it's fair play and respect of the officials.
