Why?Should be judged in real time, not slow mo or paused screenshots.
Ok we lost to Panama? England didn't qualify to the Euro in 08. Netherland in the past 2 major tournament? Whats your point? It is obvious football is growing in America SUBSTANTIALLY and that bothers certain people (Particularly the English I dont know why).
Like I said if football became the main Sport in the United States tomorrow within 20 years they would be one of the top footballing nations. The talent pool here would be too big.
That won't happen which is why the process will be longer. But it will happen but people have to be Realistic.
Look at the woman game where it Is prioritized and they are so far ahead any other nation in that respect.
I am saying England vs USA.I'm pretty sure the USA played at the WC 2014 in Brasil .
Because once you open the VAR can of worms it can't be closed. People are not going to tolerate any mistakes or wrong decisions. Instead of VAR I would have hoped they would focus on better training of officials, maybe adding extra refs, 2-3 teams plus linesmen. The feel of the game is just different now, all these delays.
I'm sorry but that's justice. Never in a million years should that be a pen.
I thought it was a pen from the first replay. The moment there was contact from the USA player, it was a clear pen, for me anyway.Even from three angles that's difficult to call
The striker is looking to strike the ball. The defender clipping the strikers foot stops her from striking the ball. It's a clear pen.Never a penalty. It was the striker inadvertently hit the defenders foot.
I'm a supporter of VAR but that is a terrible comparison. The technology involved isn't even close to the same. Goal line tech is way more precise.Would you say that about goal line technology?
What if United missed out on a league because of an offside goal, but it was 29cm? Even the clear and obvious phrase worlds for it. It is a clear and obvious mistake because offside is offside and it’s not a subjective call.
