Zinedine Zidane | Resigns

is The Sun a bad source? I´m sure that will be a bid for Hazard but the part of Bale and United will depend on your next coach.
the sun is yellow journalism at best.

even without the hillsbrough debacle it's still mostly shithouse driven by sensationalist headlines. I don't know what the spanish equivalent is... marca? dunno.

Sun have linked us with Bale for ages but can't see it happening. I can see him leaving, just not coming here with the number of times he's rejected us in the past. This gives you an idea of what The Sun is like:

Hazard, Pogba and De Gea will probably be your summer signings. Maybe a CB too to partner Varane

I feel old now. Real, Barca and Atletico coached by Zidane, Luis Enrique and Simeone. :)

I still have a hard time taking him seriously as a coach. Maybe because he's always smiling and talking with a Marseille accent.

Instead of a Galactico player, Perez got himself a Galactico manager.

So far, so good. 2-0 vs Depor. Could have been 4-0 already too. 42 mins.

Ugh I'm already seeing shite about how we should follow suit and make Giggs our manager because they're winning his first game. Good grief.

And now it is 4-0. Bale hat trick.

It's not like they were doing badly under Benetiz....

great team wins match...not much of a surprise

Attacking coach who lets his attackers attack..goals happen..who'd have thought?

Not the game to judge him on.

Look he's going to do well at Madrid - he's got good players. He will do well but ultimately it won't prove anything.

De Gea is the only player that would fit into this Madrid side right now. Shows just how far our team is off the pace of the big boys.

Far too early to say that - Rafa had his team scoring a lot too, football was still poor.

I say this as someone who missed today's game. Just saying that judging him against an awful Deportivo side alone is too reactionary.

I agree that 1 game cannot be used as a guide of what lies ahead.
But we (MUFC) played a League 1 side today and were only able to score 1 goal.
Surely Deportivo can't be worse than a EPL league 1 team - right?

I hope he does well. As a player I haven't enjoyed watching anyone more than him until today. Plus at least Madrid have a manager again who I like.

Obviously they're better. My point is just that 1 game is far too small a sample size to judge Zidane.

After a match I think it is clear that the players didn´t believe in Benitez football ideas and underperformed. Zidane said in press conference that the BBC had to defend and they did. Respect to his figure or desire to impress, who knows.
I wonder what will happen between Isco and James, if they will alternate during the next games.
The result of today is misleading but in any case Madrid has installed again the state of optimism.
The other conclusion of today is that the right back has an owner.

The league table suggests they are not awful. They were just outplayed today by an excellent team.

Its one game though, lets see if they can stick with it over a few games.

What I don't understand is, Why don't Benzema and especially Bale want to defend? Ronaldo can point to his goal scoring record and show why he doesn't need to defend but the other two shouldn't be getting away with it. Bale used to be a defender for god sake and he has a great engine stamina wise, he is more than capable of putting in a defensive shift

It's genuinely baffling how our attackers don't score as many as an attack that consists of Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Isco, James, Kroos and Modric.
