Brendan Rodgers, it's up to you now
Resigning after 3 consecutive CL wins. This man is untouchable. Zizou is da best eva.
So you think he should only manage PSG, Juve or Bayern?
Anything but a 4-peat not done for over half a century will be seen as failure at MadridI think he has no business downgrading from Madrid to United. Whatever he can hypothetically do and gets offered from United, Madrid will match and he’ll have far more resources at his disposal with Real. United can’t keep up with them and we’ve always been the little brothers to them who pluck away at our team.
...plus he said he’s not looking to go to any other club. He literally said he’s stepping down because he can’t see them mainting their success. Why I’m earth United fans even fathom he’d want to come here is beyond me lol.
I'm happy with Jose for all the reasons you've stated but I feel that there are too many people who will be unhappy with him if performances don't improve. I know Zizou has never built a squad but with his name and our money, there's isn't really anyone who would turn us down, player wise. It's easier to build a team when you get all the players you want.It would be a surprise, as ZZ would be a big gamble and Ed wants to avoid gambles. He is looking for sure things, now.
We previously tried bringing in a manager who likes to build a team for the long haul (and that failed).
We then went and got a World Class manager, who had never managed in England and had not managed a club side for a while (that failed).
Ed then went and got Jose - proven World Class manager who had won the league 18 months earlier, in England. A serial winner. We wanted trophies, so we got Jose.
ZZ would be someone who has never built a team from scratch and someone who has never managed in a competitive league, where it not inconceivable that you can lose to the side who is bottom of the league.
As long as Jose is winning (or coming very close to) winning trophies, he shall remain as manager.
Cause our ambitions would match his. You think we are happy with just the FA Cup?
I’m pretty sure our ambitions are higher than Chelsea or Liverpool.Ambitions are just ambitions, I’m sure they’re no different to Chelsea’s or City’s or Liverpool’s.
Zidane is the ultimate winner. You really think he’d want to inherit United how it is now? Not a chance. If they show some signs of life this new season sure but as of yet, our football heritage since SAF left is poor.
Should have announced it immediately after the final and fecked Ronaldo over

It depends if he wants his squads handed to him or if he wants to build his own.
Thanks. He thinks that it was needed and that the club and himself need something new.
I’m not sure Real do have more resources than United, although they do have advantage when it comes to Iberian and S American players due to the weather and the language.Don’t think so. I’m certain all 4 clubs ambitions are to win the league and win the CL. We are limited in terms of resources compared to Madrid so yea it literally makes no sense for him to join us unless things drastically change for the better and there’s light at the end of the tunnel (such as winning the league for a start but then again, that would only mean José stays and if we don’t win it and he’s sacked, again why on earth would he come here?).
Pretty sure he just wants to win. He had a squad handed down to him at Madrid. He could’ve built it his own the next couple of years as the board would back him without doubt after the success he’s had but decided he’d rather back off and leave with his gains. Goes to show his winner mentality. The audacity of him to make such a decision after winning 3 straight CLs and having the same world class squad going forward. God like.

Anyway, Jose isn’t going anywhere, so it’s a pointless debate
There can be many reasons, he may want to actually build his own side rather than having a chairman do all the signing. He could be tempted to win it everywhere like Jose was.Madrid will always have the bigger pull being the bigger and better attraction.
...and not really. José can easily get sacked mid season if things are really bad or at the end of the season if we don’t put up a close fight/win the league after spending another hundred odd million £ on signings. Thing is, even is José does get fired it’s just more reason for Zidane to not come here. Why on earth would he want to come here on a failing side? Logically it makes zero sense.
Well they have "all the f*cking luck"Klopp to Real
Navas 31Another Champions League win has hidden it well but they have an ageing team that finished third, 17 points behind Barca. I'd fancy doing a disappearing act as well.
My suspicion is whoever is manager next season is getting sacked and he's made sure that fate won't be his.
Takes more than being one of the best teams in the world to keep your job, at Real Madrid, though. They look solidly one of the best teams in the world for the next few years without additions but for sure they are gonna add to the squad as well
One of City or PSG will do it eventually. Unlimited money would get it done.I don’t think his feat can ever be repeated again.
Good luck Zizou
strange, everything about it. For what he has achieved, he still remains very unconvincing or under appreciated to the wider football public. Pep was revered for what he did at Barca, I don't see the same adulation for Zidane. It's almost like people think the team won and would have anyway regardless of the manager. I think that's a bit unfair. He may not have been the most astute tactician, but he knew enough. One thing his team had was the ability to win games by digging in and grinding out victories. You look at the road to this last CL, tough group, then PSG, Juve, it certainly wasn't handed to them. Good luck to him.
Mourinho wasn't fired.Zidane left Real Madrid setting a new record; he is the first manager in Florentino’s era not to be fired. He’s the first to make the decision to leave.

So basically they look pretty sorted to me especially as they will probably give a new manager the funds to get players like neymar Kane and Allison or de gea...
I think the demise of this team is overrated.. . They look solidly one of the best teams in the world for the next few years without additions but for sure they are gonna add to the squad as well
