I'm saying it's retarded to let your "best" winger sit out.
3 poor defensive displays cum brainfarts in crucial games while not giving much to attack.

You mentioned this yesterday and I was confused. What are the 3 brainfarts you are referring to? Obviously the Chelsea League Cup (if League Cup can be class as "crucial") game but what are the others?
Liverpool away which gets mentioned often on here, and Tottenham home.
He's been in doghouse, after those 2 games for Big games at least.
Against Tottenham he didn't track back on many occasions. Vertonghen attacked on that flack and even for their goal and he was lousy tracking back.
Bale and Vetonghen dominated him and Rafa that day both going forward and back.
And i was referring to Anfield away this year too where he started and was frustrating.

Steve Mcmahon mentioned on air at that time when he was over in England covering our game, that he overheard Sir Alex talking with someone about Nani's workrate and attitude and how he was unhappy with the consistency. I thought Bullshit at the time but it seems to be true more by the day.
The league cup thing was more about calling him out publicly to send him a message dead set.
We'll regret it when he turns out for another team and performs at the level he's often done here for the past 2 years.
See my posts brother. I said 3 poor defensive displays/Brainfarts.
Well Ashley Young should be no where near the team in such important games.
SAF said this about Wednesday night's team selection:
''There were a lot of disappointed players.
''Nani and Ashley Young are two international footballers. I find it hard to explain that I have left them out.''
Yet he was very good V Man city and Chelsea.
He was alright, I wouldn't trust him against Madrid. Then again Kagawa didn't do anything. I'd personally be tempted to play Nani in the home leg. That game at home to Bayern was amazing....
i backed my car into a cop car the other day
well he just drove off, sometimes life’s ok
I find it amazing that people on this forum will continuously consider Nani an important part of our present/future plans when he can't even make the sub bench in the biggest game of the season lol. I constantly fell that I have to state I am a fan of Nani before saying sumat like this but he is not a major part of Fergie's plans anymore. If Valencia keeps at the rate he is going, it won't be long before he is in the same bracket.
I've said it before and ill say it again...I wish Nani could fullfil the potential but it aint gonna happen at United anymore. As soon as Zaha comes, I expect him to feature promemtly. When Ryan Giggs is getting the nod before Nani, how can any fanboi argue lol
What a nightmare of a post.![]()
Nani has months left on his contract doesn't he? I hope he stays bcause he's gradually improved since his games back. I don't honk we can afford to lose a player of his quality and certainly not for Nowt!
I don't agree with him but its hardly a nightmare post.

Valencia has been poor IMO but itching its going to take more than one ropey season for him to get overlooked. He does need to improve mind.

Started early have you lrm?![]()
It's next summer has contract expires. Perhaps if he is to leave, it'll be at a reduced fee this summer or nothing in a years time.
The only thing I can say about Nani is, he hasn't felt truly integral for a some time now so in essence "losing" him isn't the issue. It's making sure that in time his contribution is replaced by a player who can be equal to or better than him.
People will always say "who will come in and instantly replace him IF he leaves?" But given the fact he's barely made a contribution in the recent past, it's not even up for debate. The potential of Zaha could in time lead to a equal or better replacement should Nani leave.
The ideal situation would be that he stays and makes his mark again, but it's hard to judge. The signings of 2007 may well go down as some of the worst over the long-term if he leaves at a cut-price having made very little impact for us this season, added to the idea that Anderson too may also want to leave (which I understand is likely to be something lost in translation too).
