Shinji Kagawa

Not even fit enough for the bench? Do me a favour.

If that's Moyes decision, then I trust him. None of us knows what's going on behind the scenes anyways.

I simply refuse to believe that it's lack of skills that's holding Kagawa back.

Yet somehow was fit enough for the Swansea and Chelsea matches.

Oh and look, just n time for another international break in which the travelling will preclude him from the team.

So he was fit then, it seems. I have an idea; PUT HIM ON THE PITCH INSTEAD OF THE BENCH!

With our players we had on the bench I can't believe there was no room for Kagawa. That's ridiculous.

It's even worse with Rooney being out and Kagawa being the natural replacement for him. Instead we go with Giggs.

Ridiculous. I understand nani on the bench, but why not Kagawa starting instead giggs? It was just so obvious.

Early days of course but Moyes preferring hard workers and grafters (Valencia, Young, Jones, Welbeck) to more technical players (Kagawa, Nani, Januzaj, Zaha, Fabio) I hope doesn't become a common theme. Not sure why Fabio couldn't start over Jones yesterday - was he injured?

Well I'll quote this again. Ridiculous decision from Moyes.

Not fitness then, there we have it.

How about you make a choice between Kagawa and Young because you've actually started Nani, or a few other permutations for that matter.

That is not a decision which reflects well on Dave's assessment of our squad at the present time IMO.

If that quote from Moyes is true then that's not encouraging. If Giggs and Young are over Kagawa he's is well down the pecking order bearing in mind Rooney was out. I love Giggsy, but he should be passed starting away days at Anfield.

It's retarded how a player of Kagawa quality doesn't even make the bench while Giggs start matches. Or Welbeck. Or Young.

It may well have been that Moyes didn't want to carry two players, who are both unfit, on the bench.

I have to say, i couldn't disagree more with moyes on this, kagawa is a fantastic talent, would be brilliant behind a striker, he seems to opt for hard working players all the time, really disappointing, he won't be here next season.

Id force a last minute move away if i could at all, if i was kagawa. thats brutal.

It may well be that Moyes is bringing his pragmatic approach to playing rivals from Everton to United. Two big games in a week against two rivals, and his team selections have been far from inspiring in both.

The Chelsea team was fine IMO. Welbeck deserved to start after scoring twice on the opening day and starting Rooney was a good move. No problems with Valencia playing and balancing that out.

Today was bizarre with Rooney injured.

One player doesn't make an entire "move". It wouldn't have been worse to have him out there for sure but his impact would be reduced, just like we saw it many times last season.

There would have been at least some positive impact so i don't agree he would have made no difference out there today

can't believe what i just read, this over reliance on Giggs is depressing

Very well said.

Looks like more abject uninspiring zombie football is on the way.
