tbf, it has been the one common thing between them and us. Juventus as well. The comebacks from seemingly dead situations and after playing sub par for most game.
I am the reason for Madrid's victory. Levante score their 1st, I switch on the TV to watch the rest of the match for fun. Real score the equalizer, I turn it off. Then Levante score, I turn back to the television again and Madrid score two. I am convinced if I had watched the whole match Madrid would have won by 50-0 or something.

I was despairing at El Zhar's goal but once Morata got the comeback going I was pretty confident they'd pull it off. Madrid scoring a couple and Ronaldo not getting on the scoresheet? Nah, that's not allowed. Got on Madrid at evens, wondering now whether to go for Barca too...
Morata does look like the new Morientes alright. Great touch before the goal even if the finish was a little scrappy. Deserves a start ahead of Benzema now. Really not convinced Jese can make it at Madrid though.

Wouldn't call him that actually, a very good forward player mainly because of his technique and dribbling, but he misses too many easy chances to be called a good striker/goal scorer.
Morata's goal was an excellent finish, but he's fortunate that he finished it off! Ronaldo was lurking at the far post without a defender in sight. A simple pass to the right and Ronaldo had a (semi) open goal. I'd have went mental if Morata had put that wide or shot straight at the defender. Never mind; all's well that ends well.
Jese squandered one or two crosses alright, but what impressed me was his willingness to keep seeking the ball, and the confidence his teammates showed i giving it to him. It can't be easy for youngsters coming though at Madrid - especially in the attacking positions - but they appear to rate him over there so it'll be interesting to see how he goes.
The thing with youngsters in Spain is that whatever club they play for, they come into the first team and look technically sound. When youngsters, like Januzaj for example, come through in England, we seem to be amazed that they can control and pass the football. It's funny.
