Nail on the head. You study journalism or mass communications don't you?

The Beeb reporter just wanted a quote to put up on the website. Something to run a couple of features on the tele. Rather poor.

No I was mentored in mass communication as it was a major part of my last job as a PR representative for a world wide music company. So I wouldnt say study, but ive definitely had alot of experience with dissecting questions and where people are trying to lead you with questions. But thanks for noticing my observation.

I studied sound for film, just in case you were wondering hehe.

Haha! He was the exact same way as we see him now in his youth coaching days. Seen the Vine of him celebrating a last minute goal against Feyenoord in the Under 8's? You read that right - THE UNDER 8's!

So I guess Under 8s don't get away kits?

Ah my apologies for implying you were a student. I do say that for any job we end up doing though. Every day is a learning curve.

Our man Aloysius Paulus Maria has clearly overcome some tough odds to make a success of himself and not end up a rapist.

I find myself increasingly infatuated with the idea of this guy in the hot seat. Bring on next season!

Isnt it Ajax v Ajax kids training game.

No, apparently this a part of a larger video, which I thought to be fascinating. That's Feyenoord they're playing against. Enjoy...

EDIT: There's Frank Sinatra's rendition of "You'll never walk alone" played through most of the video. Apologies for that! But I must confess that it's a beautiful song in its own right.

That's amazing thanks  I can't wait to see him crab down the touchline with forearms raised!

The passion he shows even for youth football is quite enthralling. The more I see of him the more I like him.

Ah sorry dont know how I missed the writing. Hopefully hell play Cleverley in the under 8s, he might learn a few things.

Never thought it was a huge deal but after a year of Moyes, it would be great to have a manager who knows to handle the press.

The passion, being a bit eccentric, dogmatic, fiery, bad loser etc. are all traits he shares with other successful managers such as SAF and the Special One and is probably why they are so successful.

Maybe we should wait until Liverpool officially miss out on the title and perhaps a few days more so it can come the day after Suarez officially hands in a transfer request. Like a triple whammy; lose title race, Suarez hands in transfer request, United appoint van Gaal and also sign £120m worth of talent on the same day. Then plan it so Steven Gerrard misses out on the World Cup.
That's the best idea I've seen in ages!

Yep, I suppose it's like a player really. Generally the ones that are very self believing and almost egotistical make the best. You have to believe your the best to be the best. Something Moyes unfortunately had not learnt yet.

The only exception I can think of is Ancelotti. He's the coolest guy ever. Seriously, a humble, nice human being. He's won just about everything football as well.

The only complaint anyone can make against him is that he hasn't won enough league titles.

wonder if the club have decided that with Sunday being about city or Liverpool winning the league it would be the perfect time to announce Van Gaal as manager and split the sky news headlines and reports all day. or monday morn to create a headline other than all about the league winners. give our fans something to smile about on a shite day

Doubt we're that small time.

I do think we're waiting for the season to end but its not so that we can poop on the leaguer winner's party.

Maybe its a "treat em mean and keep em keen" situation we are seeing here. The longer we go without Van Gaal being appointed, the more everyone likes him and the better suited to us he is (a phenomenon that has been observed elsewhere in the Kagawa thread). If they hold off till next week the desperation to name him as manager will be palpable, giving him a stronger mandate to make the changes he wants. Maybe that was something else lacking for Moyes, we never saw this clamour for him, this rising tide of supporter excitement, it was always just a bit "meh". It is interesting though, because when Van Gaal's name was first floated he was seen as a bit of a compromise, but now he is practically seen as the living embodiment of the club.

Maybe this is Woodward's marketing genius in action.

Most of peoples reservations were due to the uknown, weve not had much experience or knowledge of Van Gaal, most dutch and German United fans were pretty surprised and excited that we had decided to go with him.

I must admit, I'm getting more and more excited to see LvG - but (like the Gerrard GIFS) I can't fully enjoy them until he is confirmed. I'm still a bit confused why we can't just name him? Maybe to deflect questions for Giggs in his last week? Maybe as part of Moyes severance package / contractual clauses we can only officially name a manager at the end of the season? Or maybe we are still considering someone else?!

My boss just said that LVG isn't the man for United. He also said last year the Moyes was the man for United.........my boss is a Liverpool supporter. I rest my case!

Thanks for sharing Jaap. *Clapping* *background - Thanks Jaap! thanks jaap ...*

Now, who'd like to go next...

I'd say that they're shitting at the prospect of us returning to our best, especially since they've missed out on such a big chance to win their 19th title. It'll sicken them if we win the league next season and I'd fecking love it.

It will be good to have a manager/coach who makes it clear to players that he makes the decisions. Moyes never played the same XI in 34 Premier League matches, if nothing else a sign he had no idea what he was trying to achieve.

Partly the unknown, definitely. But also people were looking more at some of the negatives, particularly the fact that his biggest successes were much earlier in his career, and he has left quite a few of his jobs under a bit of a cloud. Not trying to rain on the parade here, Ive been through this same journey from being a bit underwhelmed / seeing it as making the best of a relatively poor list of candidates (ie not Klopp, Mourinho or Guardiola, who consistently topped people's wishlists) to thinking he is in fact the perfect candidate.

Tell him he can lick his balls when he inevitably flashes it next season.
