Robson also described Valencia as one of the best right sided midfielders around. I just hope our board doesn't think this way.![]()
I for one, am excited to see what a fully fit Anderson can do under Van Gaal's tutelage. Bite?
If we make no more signings for CM i would quite like to see what Tony V can do in the middle. i think he would be a good anchor. Probably not a popular opinion i no but there you goRobson also described Valencia as one of the best right sided midfielders around. I just hope our board doesn't think this way.![]()
Well I hope Lou Macari is wrong. I would be more than happy to see us break our transfer record for him.
At one stage he was. I really hope he didn't say recently though...
What do you expect from Moyes, not going for a strootman and herrera, but hey I will target baines and fellaini

Wonder how much Lou would have been worth in his time, in today's prices?Well I hope Lou Macari is wrong. I would be more than happy to see us break our transfer record for him.
One thing I do not understand, why do Juve fans hate Allegri? I know nothing about him but I also seem to recall he was the Italy manager at this year's world cup? Or have I got the wrong person?
Lou Macari is saying we're overloaded with midfielders so it doesn't make sense to sign Vidal.![]()
We shouldn't get so obsessed by one player every season. I'd be more than happy if we brought in, say, a player like Schweinsteiger, a world class CB, and exciting winger like Depay. That would do me.
Vidal is a muppet's dream, if it happens fantastic, if it doesn't I won't lose sleep.
No, I don't think they are manipulated. I believe you're referring to the interview that was posted on Youtube and linked earlier in this thread which was done just prior to a Colo Colo game where he was being interviewed. The one where he mentions this about "if the Manchester United deal falls through" is from a separate interview. Not only did reports of this "falls through" quote come out a day or two after the other quotes, he also says different things than at the Colo Colo game. Pretty much every article about the "falls through" quote has him also mentioning "spending time with the people I love". He never said anything about "people I love" in the interview at the Colo Colo game. In both he mentioned that he's happy at Juve, that he's just enjoying his holiday, and something to the effect of sorting it all out when he returns to Italy. But he didn't mention family, the people he loves, or anything along those lines at the Colo Colo game. Those comments were apparently manipulated. He in no way referred to Man United for example in that "I am already at a big club in Juventus, if this option with Man United falls through." quote... the Manchester United part was snuck in by cnutish twitter vaginas.
Schweinsteiger? He'd be as hard to get as Vidal.

Probably, especilly after his WC performances.Probably harder.
Anything can happen, except for Schweinsteiger signing for us.In football, we never know. I never thought I'd see RVP or Mata at United, but it happened.
Long way to go until Sep 1st. There will be celebrations and heartbreak along the way - enjoy the ride I say!
ARTURONMarotta: "Vidal remains. If you want him. " And the United
Marotta provides: "We do not want to sell it," but then adds: "But the players always decide." And United is arming
TURIN - Beppe Marotta do not want to sell, but this is not enough to be sure that does not leave Arturo Vidal Juventus.Says the CEO of Juventus' Vidal? Never put up for sale. It 'a player who has been asked by important clubs, but we've never sat at the negotiating table. And 'one of the greatest actors of our team, we keep it tight. Then you know that on one side there now, the other is the player who is always the one who decides its future. However, it seems to me that Vidal has also expressed his happiness of yesterday remain, if this is true happiness, we are overjoyed to keep it. "
THE MANCHESTER - What does this mean? Well, let's say that Juventus in front of an offer of 45/50 million would be hard pressed not to give in to the temptation to sell Vidal. And, in that case, the key to justify the sale of jewelery could be the "will of the player." In other words: if Vidal wants to go to Manchester we can not hold by force. But Vidal wants to go to Manchester? It is not clear yet good for the time bouncing pieces of interviews from South America where Vidal is kept in balance. But the truth is that no one has yet made an offer on which to reflect in a concrete way. Vidal is fine in Turin and his family would not like a transfer, however, if the offer of Manchester was economically interesting for him, everything could change. And the Manchester seems serious about: the budget for Vidal is 44 million euro, but could be set to rise.

They had to say something and they aren't going to say he's likely to leave.Doesn't seem that obvious to me anyway. I take it as worse than not saying anything, which was yesterday's situation.

Ah.. Lou Macari is clueless.
On MUTV now about Vidal: "I don't see us spending another 30m on a midfielder"
I hope he decides to sign for The Manchester.

Another poster posted this in Evra thread..
Bryan Robson on MUTV: ''Evra won't go to Juve if we can't get the player we are trying to get off them.''
I think Lou actually enjoys us being shit. Makes his incessant whinging more acceptable then.According to Lou: won't spend on Vidal, but might go for Sneijder.![]()
Robbo coming to save the dayLike it![]()
