good luck. was never good enough to be the manager of Manchester United obviously but i wish him all the best. will definitely look out for their results from time to time.
I couldn't care less how he does, and I don't know why any Manchester United fan would. And that's not even because of his tenure, it's because - well, again, why would you? He's a sunk cost, there's no emotional linkage between him and United.
Is everyone one trying to prove how nice they are?
I think that Moyes was clearly out of his depth. It's not like he didn't try. Don't get me wrong, the guy pissed me off but I've got nothing against the guy. He gave his all but unfortunately he simply just wasn't good enough for us.
Good luck to him, there won't be as much pressure as there was at United so I think he'll do fine.
Will no doubt turn them into a Pulis Stoke side.
I wish him good luck though, would love to face him in the Europa League in years to come.
At least you're starting to realise your level now too.
Screw Moyes, all he done since leaving the club is talk shit about the club and his surprise of the lack of time and resources he was afforded....good riddance.

In fairness he's hardly done a Keano on us.
We probably owe him the Shaw transfer, so thats one tiny thing we should be gratefull to him for.
Ah feck him, I hope it goes shit and he gets sacked.
I thought fergie was keeping tabs on shaw since he was 16?
Not to mention that Herrera was on our radar for years as well.
I don't think we owe Moyes anything, he got a massive payday when he was let go and that was enough.
He is like one of those CEO's who ran their company into the ground but still managed to get a bonus payment.
I don't wish ill on him, but I don't want to wish him good luck either....mostly I am relieved he isn't out manger anymore, last year was a nightmare.
On the Shaw thing, yea both had been on our radar, still, so had Hazard and so many others under Sir Alex and yet we failed to bring them in when push came to shove,
At least Moyesy (from all accounts) had Shaw basically arranged, signed and sealed with his family behind the scenes by Christmas last year, so when Chelsea came knocking in the summer it was already too late for them.
For me, that and blooding Januzaj are more or less the only two positives in his time here.
Moyes will be named Real Sociedad manager tomorrow after their game at home to Atletí.
Good luck to him. I hope he is a great success out there.
Its been said in other threads he needed to go abroad. I don't get that at all. If he can't get his ideas across to Rio (and Vidic) how on earth is he going to do it a person with a different first language? I think this has disaster written all over it. Even though he set us back years I do wish him well.
Where are Sociedad on the table?
19th and they will probably lose tomorrow.
I get that part but how on earth will he get his ideas across? Also, more importantly can RS afford Fellaini?I think it's probably more due to the lack of pressure. He takes over a PL side and everyone's watching him, any small error and he's getting ridiculed. He's tainted in England right now. Not a bad manager but like Steve McClaren going abroad (maybe he shouldn't have come back) is probably the best thing for him now. He can do a job without ridiculous pressure on him.
I thought he would head to Scotland. His stint with us hasn't really done much for him then. I mean, taking over a relegation threatened team? Surely he could have got a better job than that if he had stayed at Everton and not been with us at all.
Hmm, strange decision. Sociedad are shit and very likely they'll get relegated this season, which will practically end any chance for Moyes to manage again on top level (not that the chace was that high anyway). If they don't relegated, his stock might increase a bit, but still. I see it a lose-lose situation for him to be fair.
Its so hard not to argue with that. The man is a complete tosser.

I know I'll feel a little thrill the next time he gets sacked. Not as good as the first time, but a reminder of a fine day.
Well, Real Sociedad were 7th last season, and 4th the one before. They are doing poorly due to losing a couple key players, namely Bravo and Griezmann. Bravo bailed them out so much in the past years, and their current keeper is very average, in my opinion. His stint with us hasn't really done much for him then.
