If Raiola and Pogba were desperate for Madrid, Madrid would have been told and Raiola would be kicking up a fuss and Pogba would have handed in his transfer request. Instead Raiola is on the verge of being the agent of a transfer fee record, getting Pogba a salary that is only surpassed by Messi and Ronaldo and a nice 20m fee for himself.

It would be bad management on Riola's part if he said a deal was agreed with Juve or United. This latest statement gives him better bargaining options with both United and Juve.

Well according to some spending 50m on Matuidi and Kante would be better. Problem I have with that thinking is that we could get Pogba and still go after Kante if we really wanted to.
