Does anyone get the impression that he's trying too hard when speaking to the media? Talks in clichés (I don't enjoy losing, far from it), occasionally offers certain supposed-to-be-witty anecdotes (like the weather one here) and in a tone that suggests he's pals with the media, almost like he's sucking up to them.
Or maybe I'm biased because I dislike the guy.

I've seen the highlights this morning of the Palace game and I'd be worried if I was a safc fan. I don't think palace will get an easier win all season. By this I mean the 3 goals were incredibly soft. Defoe must be wondering what the hell hes doing there. The third goal I mean bloody hell, palace have got players queuing up unopposed with a clear run to stick that away. Are tactics that rigid that as a professional you can't say to yourself "they've got a last minute corner and they've got everyone forward I need to stop them running into our 6 yard box". Or is it a case of we've been told to do this so we must stick to marking fresh air no matter what. They've got West Brom next week if they lose against them then we could be looking at a record low for points in a season!!

I think a lot of Sunderland fans are living in denial by thinking he only needs time to steady the ship, he's done at this level.
Do you think any other fan group would've reacted differently? It's the most hated club in England losing the title in the last second of the season after a massive bottlejob (8 points clear with 6 games to go), that's gonna be celebrated everywhere, not just in Sunderland.
Not interested in rationalising it to be honest, I just find it incredibly cringe worthy watching a stadium of fans go mental (watch the whole video if you haven't) for another teams achievement.

I don't care really, that's how it is to be the top dog. Sunderland fans don't have much to celebrate supporting such a crap team, so I'll let them have that moment of happiness.
I think the grudge United hold over this is cringe worthy too. If people celebrate your demise, I regard it as a compliment really. Those who are successful are loathed eventually and have their demise celebrated do by supporters who don't have much to celebrate.
I know it's easy to hate Sunderland for that poznan/small time celebration of City winning the title, but don't be naive: EVERYONE I knew, and everyone you knew, that isn't a supporter of Man Utd felt the exact same way. That's how much we were hated, people in this country hate success and root for the big guy - we weren't just a big guy, we were an 8 foot fully armored Gregor Clegane of a guy. If we'd been playing at West Ham, we'd have got worse. Or Tottenham. Or Everton, or - you get the picture. I don't hate them for that.

Uno-dos-tres-Moyes getting found out again. It is always the players fault, it was the players at United, it was the players at Sociedad and now it is the players at Sunderland. It seems like the scruffy clown thinks he has a god given right to manage a squad on Barcelona or Bayern level. But truth is he would probably be found out then as well, and continue to blame the players.

The fans there are saying that Sam put things in place and he's come in and I guess ripped that up. Their point is, it was working, so why rip it up instead of building on it? I quite agree. A bit eerie hearing them complain of some of the same things that we did.
