David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

All this uproar everywhere and you just know he's chilling out at home thinking he has a long contract to build a team. Unless I'm mistaken, he came up with a quote recently saying it'll take 3 or so transfer windows to fix this team.

Those post match interviews :annoyed:

Takes me right back to 2013. Will be the same at any club he goes to, glad its over for us now.

He might thought he's a hard-ass guy ripping his players a new one, but he actually made it sounds like they didnt have any game plan and didnt do anything in training at all.

Not sure if it's been posted before.

Does anyone get the impression that he's trying too hard when speaking to the media? Talks in clichés (I don't enjoy losing, far from it), occasionally offers certain supposed-to-be-witty anecdotes (like the weather one here) and in a tone that suggests he's pals with the media, almost like he's sucking up to them.

Or maybe I'm biased because I dislike the guy.

Fergie wins that accolade, too. Big Ron never lectured at Harvard.
The club never sacked Fergie, back on topic I am absolutely pleased that this fraud is making such a meal of his last chance at a PL club and it couldn't be happening to a nicer bunch than those poznan dancing cnuts.

When he gets sacked in a few months

"I had a 3 year contract, If I knew I would only last 4 months, I would have done things differently. I would have probably started winning."

His plan is probably get relegated, then come back up, then push for CL

cracking jokes about the weather while bottom of the league. Sunderland fans are welcome to him

I've seen the highlights this morning of the Palace game and I'd be worried if I was a safc fan. I don't think palace will get an easier win all season. By this I mean the 3 goals were incredibly soft. Defoe must be wondering what the hell hes doing there. The third goal I mean bloody hell, palace have got players queuing up unopposed with a clear run to stick that away. Are tactics that rigid that as a professional you can't say to yourself "they've got a last minute corner and they've got everyone forward I need to stop them running into our 6 yard box". Or is it a case of we've been told to do this so we must stick to marking fresh air no matter what. They've got West Brom next week if they lose against them then we could be looking at a record low for points in a season!!

And if you ever feel even slightly sorry for Sunderland fans just watch this vid from amongst their fans the day we lost the title to City

Sad cnuts. Hope Moyesy ruins em!

I think a lot of Sunderland fans are living in denial by thinking he only needs time to steady the ship, he's done at this level.

Do you think any other fan group would've reacted differently? It's the most hated club in England losing the title in the last second of the season after a massive bottlejob (8 points clear with 6 games to go), that's gonna be celebrated everywhere, not just in Sunderland.

Not interested in rationalising it to be honest, I just find it incredibly cringe worthy watching a stadium of fans go mental (watch the whole video if you haven't) for another teams achievement.

Bit tragic and small time and it was at our expense so feck em.

I don't care really, that's how it is to be the top dog. Sunderland fans don't have much to celebrate supporting such a crap team, so I'll let them have that moment of happiness.

I think the grudge United hold over this is cringe worthy too. If people celebrate your demise, I regard it as a compliment really. Those who are successful are loathed eventually and have their demise celebrated do by supporters who don't have much to celebrate.

I know it's easy to hate Sunderland for that poznan/small time celebration of City winning the title, but don't be naive: EVERYONE I knew, and everyone you knew, that isn't a supporter of Man Utd felt the exact same way. That's how much we were hated, people in this country hate success and root for the big guy - we weren't just a big guy, we were an 8 foot fully armored Gregor Clegane of a guy. If we'd been playing at West Ham, we'd have got worse. Or Tottenham. Or Everton, or - you get the picture. I don't hate them for that.

I like their club and fans generally, the RTG forum is one of the funniest football forums on the internet and they seem like genuinely class guys. They don't deserve David Moyes. I actually feel sorry for him in a way - he looks SO OLD now! He's aged 20 years in the last 5.

You just know they will sack him quicker than we did, which I know is a completely different situation but in both instances he's not good enough for the job given to him, thank feck we did actually come to our senses.

Hmm. I wonder where he'll go next then? Championship club? Try to win them promotion?

I never liked him. He's a complete bullshitter. He talks in cliches. Can't stand him. He won't make it to the end of the season. If he does, Sunderland are gone.

A few of them saying that he'll come good as long as they give him time, sounds eerily familiar.

Well he did start some seasons poorly at Everton only to come good in the end.

Be wonderful if he brought Rooney in on loan at Christmas.
No thanks. Rather they have a little hope to spoil our rival than paying money out of pocket to handing point to our rivals.

I felt like he started badly most seasons, crying about injuries constantly.

Needs more time....

Tramp!

I think a lot of Sunderland fans are living in denial by thinking he only needs time to steady the ship, he's done at this level.
From what I've read it seems most of them have already sussed him out, and can see he's a potential disaster.
The Ready-to-go forum has some good posters on there, and they don't sugarcoat anything:D

He's taken a job that he must have known would be difficult and all he does is complain how difficult it is.

This reminds me of Paul Jewell at Derby (it was him, wasn't it? ), another fraud of a manager. Spent the whole season telling everyone how shit they were, ended up relegated on 10 points. Where is he now! Running a pub, or something? A disgrace to the Premier League.

Allardyce kept this shit show up last season, Moyes has had a transfer window to improve things. It used to be generally agreed that he was a better manager than him. They should be able to pick up a few points along the way, with some decent coaching, but clearly they're not getting that.

Start with sorting out the defence, you dickhead.

fecks sake, he's clueless.

Edit : This is what you've got to look forward to Davy :

Hes slating of this players will be his downfall.

They will not play for him ,get him sacked and try with the new guy.
He does look like he could be sacked before Christmas at this rate, and I don't think he can arrest the slide, mostly due to his arrogance I think.

He should've been sacked the moment he signed Papy Djilobodji to be honest.

Uno-dos-tres-Moyes getting found out again. It is always the players fault, it was the players at United, it was the players at Sociedad and now it is the players at Sunderland. It seems like the scruffy clown thinks he has a god given right to manage a squad on Barcelona or Bayern level. But truth is he would probably be found out then as well, and continue to blame the players.

"This Messi lad is simply not up to much I am telling you."

The fans there are saying that Sam put things in place and he's come in and I guess ripped that up. Their point is, it was working, so why rip it up instead of building on it? I quite agree. A bit eerie hearing them complain of some of the same things that we did.

Worst of all, his negativity is driving them nuts:D
