372 goals in 360 games (+ 120 assists)
He wants to play until he is 41 then? Wonderful, I look forward to see him playing 36-41, he is the most suited from an athletic point of view. Very old players still keep the touch but 41 is insane, isn't it? Totti is almost there though and he still plays effectively as a super-sub with the occasional starting appearance. Roma is not Madrid and the question is where would Cristiano go and play after 2021? Do Sporting CP have the dosh??
Really?I would even say than having Wayne Rooney is less of a drawback than current Ronaldo.
Ain't no way he was happier than winning the Ballon d'Or, otherwise he wouldn't have needed to nail it in 80 times and have that long sermon, but he still was the most deserving one.
Words are all lies, moot point anyway, no way to tell.He swore on his sons life in that video.
I believe him. I was happier when Spain won the world cup than I've been after any CL or league Madrid ever won.Words are all lies, moot point anyway, no way to tell.
Yeah, but you're more of a spectator than a player, and for me as a fanboy, I wouldn't put that one in my top 3 Viva moments.I believe him. I was happier when Spain won the world cup than I've been after any CL or league Madrid ever won.

Indeed. But for many English folk it's not something we fully appreciate, because we're not a very patriotic country. Some people are truly patriotic and nationalism trumps all.
You could tell by his reaction to the final whistle just what it meant to him. Plus how he kicked every ball from the sidelines. Anyone that seriously thinks the Ballon Dor means more to him than the Euro title is talking complete bollocks.
True leader.
Hello mate, haven't seen you post for a while.
I'll talk bollocks all day (EDIT: I think this is true for any other player, let alone Ronaldo on his race with Messi). You could tell by his reaction to the final whistle just what it meant to him. Sure loves his super saiyan celebration, I liked it better when he personalized them. Beats the tit groping I suppose.
Penaldo! Viva x2 @SirAF

This has been eye opening actually.
I genuinely didn't think he could re-invent himself but this looks like the start of it. Of course you can argue the first goal was deflected, the second was a penalty and the third a tap in but he's been effective tonight and conserved himself too.
Genuinely thought it'd be a quick slide into obscurity but you don't write the greats off I guess.
