As for that speech I find nothing emotional about it, at least in tone or demeanour. I believe he is incredibly happy, but he looks as robotic as usual.

bale didn't even look in full flight there, Juan Fran ( no slouch ) was absolutely flat out and couldn't get close.

I genuinely didn't think he could re-invent himself but this looks like the start of it. Of course you can argue the first goal was deflected, the second was a penalty and the third a tap in but he's been effective tonight and conserved himself too.

When I saw them vs Leganes 2 weeks ago, I said he was their best attacker (in terms of movement and threat, was screwed over by poor displays behind him and bad service) when we saw them. Same again tonight but this time they've served him well and Atleti got punished.
